Hi families! My name is Lillian, and I would love to be your birth doula and/or night nanny! I have been professionally trained by Dr. Robin Elise Weiss through DONA International and have been working with babies and in childcare for 5+ years. I am so excited to begin this incredible journey with you. I have always been passionate about working with families and babies in whatever capacity I could, and I aspire to be a midwife and eventually own/run a birth center focusing on holistic care. I strongly believe that birth is a beautiful, natural process that a woman’s body was made to do and that you, as the birthing person, are wholly capable of bringing your baby into the world. So, my goal is to support you in doing that however you may need! I have always been told that I have a very calming presence, even by strangers and those who don’t know I am in birth work, and I plan to bring that to every birth I attend, along with my active listening skills, assurance, and knowledge. Together, we will make sure your birth is as comfortable and empowering as possible, I can’t wait to work with you!

I'm passionate about empowering mothers through the journey of pregnancy, birth and the fourth trimester. After giving birth to our first child, I decided to start my birth work journey as a birth and postpartum doula. My goal is to provide unwavering support, guiding moms to feel calm and empowered on their unique journey to motherhood. Beyond my doula role, I am a mom to a 3 year old boy, a 1 year old girl, and I find joy in bonfires, gardening and a good cup of coffee.

Hi there! I’m Megan (she/her). I’m so glad you’re considering doula support for your or your partner’s upcoming birth. I believe all parents deserve judgement-free, evidence-based support during their labor, birth and postpartum. My journey to fully birth obsessed began during my first pregnancy. I needed to know all the things and hear all the stories. I quickly learned that many birthing people, especially those in marginalized communities, do not receive the care they deserve during their journey to and through parenthood. This is when I discovered doulas and the support they provide. So I hired my doula, had two supported and empowering in-hospital birth experiences and went on my way as a mom of two, working a typical 9-5 in corporate marketing— never quite shaking a new found desire to make a difference in the birth community. Fast forward a few years, endless heart-to-hearts with my family and friends about making a change and I finally enrolled in a doula training. I truly believe this is what I’m meant to do and I’m so glad to have found my way here. My goal as a birth and postpartum doula is to empower birthing people and their partners through judgment-free and evidence-based support. When I’m not doula-ing, I’m usually spending time with my husband, our two daughters and two elder pups. Before parenthood and a pandemic hit, you could find us skiing, hiking, trying new restaurants, taking on a house project we probably should have left to professionals or binging our favorite shows. Now, you’re more likely to find us at a local park, swimming pool or in our backyard. A meaningful conversation over a cup of coffee or glass of wine is the way to my heart. I am so honored to serve birth and postpartum clients in Minneapolis, St. Paul and all the surrounding suburbs.

Hello and Congratulations on your new arrival! I've been a birth doula since 2018 through the organization DONA. Every birth I have assisted with has been a beautiful and a learning experience for me. I feel blessed to be a part of this special moment in the lives of my clients. My practice provides you and your partner with continuous emotional and physical support. You are in charge, but a doula can assist with you staying in charge, especially in a hospital setting. Doula's are skilled at helping to alleviate the fear factor of giving birth. Every mother deserves a doula, and I hope you would consider me to be yours. Best wishes! Rhonda

Terri Schelkoph (CD)DONA, HCHD My Name is Terri, and I am a trained birth doula through DONA International, A Heavenly Welcome Practitioner. I currently reside in the south metro with my husband Jon for 19 years and our six delightfully boisterous children. Through the birth of my own children, I recognized the value of knowing my options, feeling educated in the decisions I was making, and being empowered to start my journey of parenthood. I understood that a new mom can pendulum swing between feeling confident and secure one moment, and self doubting and and insecure the next. I have a passion for being a mama’s biggest cheerleader, encouraging them to be who they were designed to be. As a Mama of Six, my experiences inspired me to educate, serve and encourage other mamas during the beauty and struggle of pregnancy and childbirth. Doula Mama is the name my children picked out, and it is quite fitting 🙂 I love Jesus, my husband Jon, and my children. I am passionate about helping other women have the best pregnancy, labor and delivery as possible. Outside of birth work you can find me with my nose in a good book, drinking copious amounts of coffee, homeschooling my children, enjoying sweet friendships, watching Vikings games with my husband, or serving at my wonderful church. Additional Certifications and Trainings: Advanced VBAC trained doula through The VBAC link, and a Hypnobabies® Childbirth Hypnosis Doula and am trained in using the tens unit.

Your friendly neighborhood birth doula here to support YOUR birth! Daisy Doula MN attends hospitals, birth centers, and home births. A doula works alongside you in the prenatal, birthing time, and postpartum. I am a birth doula residing in South Minneapolis. I have a lot of interests and passions that led me to find birthwork. I find it perfectly intersects science and data, bodywork and movement, direct advocacy, and human connection. I love to laugh and cry with you, holding space for your emotions and experiences. I enjoy sharing my knowledge while being curious about everything I don’t know. After completing a B.S. at the University of Minnesota and a stint living in France, I started working as a consultant for our local utility companies, implementing an energy efficiency program for new home construction. By this time I was deep into a yoga practice and took a yoga teacher training at Yess Yoga in 2018. I learned so much and it exposed me to many holistic practices within the 8 limbs of yoga. Meanwhile, my all-female consulting team started expecting. They would come to the office with so much new information and questions after doctor/midwife appointments, not to mention what everyone was saying on the internet! I was so curious about it all! I discovered what a doula was and that people did it as a profession. Not long after I am happy to say I found a doula training and haven’t looked back.

I have always been drawn to newborns, infants, children of all ages, and their families. There is a richness in family life that always brings about such a great sense of wonder and awe. There is a way a baby or toddler looks back at you and you know they don’t care what color your hair is, how many wrinkles you have, if you are overweight, underweight, or have zero sense of style. They just know how to LOVE. It is that unconditional love and trust in a baby’s eyes that instilled a strong desire in my heart to protect this innocence and trust by providing families with care providers they could trust. Care that is always gentle, loving, slowly paced, curious, and joyful. We want to bring this into your home.

Hi all! I'm a DONA Trained Birth & Postpartum Doula, and my main goal is to make sure families feel heard, respected, and supported at every stage of their journey. With my educational background in public health and maternal & child health, I strive to create a safe, empowering space for families to thrive emotionally, physically, and mentally. Additionally, I’m committed to offering evidence-based resources to families so they feel more equipped and are provided clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. My own experiences have shown me the power of control over chaos, and this understanding deeply informs the way I approach my work. I believe that by fostering a sense of calm and control, families can navigate even the most overwhelming moments with confidence.

I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.

I am 21 years old and I am also married with 2 wonderful children! I had a doula for my first birth and I've never felt so secure. I had someone who had me, my boundaries and wants in mind. I never knew what i wanted to do as a career and after that whole experience I knew exactly what i wanted to do. Birth is such a vulnerable process and emotions are high. My goal as a Doula is to remind mothers that they are powerful and courageous! I love the feeling when i see mothers realize they are meant for this and they can do it with out a doubt!!<3

Helping families welcome their little ones into the world is my calling and purpose! I am a former L&D nurse, who chose to be a doula so because laboring families deserve consistent, focused, support evidence-based information so they can best advocate for themselves during one of the most transformational times in their lives. Because of the challenges nurses face in hospital settings, I did not have the time or resources to provide this level of support to families. I started Womb to World Birth and Lactation Support Services so that I can use my years of clinical, training and business experiences to create a community that is respectful, supportive and empowering to families of all types. Our motto is YOUR BIRTH EXPERIENCE. YOUR WAY. I would love to support you in creating your joyful birth story.

I have assisted in all types of births at various locations (hospital births and birthing center births). I have also helped countless families with my postpartum care for parents and baby. I offer other services including postpartum care, newborn nannying (day and night!!), advocacy, etc. I serve the entire United States as a traveling doula! I specialize in different labor methods to help reduce labor pains, quicken labor and make it more comfortable. I use different breathing techniques, exercises, laboring positions, massages, pressure points and more! A fun fact about me is that I worked in Law Enforcement before changing career paths to be a Doula!

"Most of us did not learn when we were young that our capacity to be self-loving would be shaped by the work we do and whether that work enhances our well-being." – bell hooks. This is a quote that has stuck with me as I explore my career path. Becoming a doula is something I did not follow through with until the murder of George Floyd. Seeing the striking images of pregnant Black mothers protesting around the country ignited the fire in me to finally complete my training to become a certified perinatal educator - meaning I can provide childbirth education, prenatal support, labor and delivery support, lactation support, and newborn care support. But my calling to birth work started on the day I was born with my mother being hospitalized for 2 months postpartum from an avoidable mistake during an emergency c-section. I value empathy, collaboration, and being open minded. As a doula, I am intentional about serving my clients in a way that supports self-empowerment, so they feel they have all the information they feel they need to make the best decision for them and their baby/babies. I do not shy away from vulnerability, and I believe this allows me to have relationships with my clients built on trust.

I’m a Perinatal Educator based in Minneapolis, MN, with a deep passion for supporting Black and Brown families. After my own challenging and disheartening labor experience with my first son in 2019, I felt called to make a difference in the lives of others who may face similar challenges. For almost six years, I’ve been advocating for our community, working to ensure that families receive the care, knowledge, and support they deserve. In May 2023, I became a certified Perinatal Educator through Commonsense Childbirth, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving many families. I take a holistic approach to perinatal education, focusing not just on the physical aspects of pregnancy and birth, but also on mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. My work is rooted in empowerment, education, and advocacy for equitable, culturally relevant care, and I’m committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the families I serve.
