About me

I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.

I’m open to lowering the scale for families who need a lower rate.

I reached out to Paige when our daughter was 2 weeks old and I'm so glad we did! She helped us at night and cared for our daughter, so I could get a good chunk of sleep. She was there to listen and offer ideas to help with any questions I had- breastfeeding, infant sleep, etc. You can tell she loves what she does and will take care of your child like her own. I loved getting to know Paige and would highly recommend her. She is the best!

Words can't describe how much we valued having Paige as our Doula! From our very first meeting it was clear how passionate she is about her work and what I loved the most is how excited and confident I would feel about our labor preparation after meeting with her. She shares such valuable insight and listens intently to what's most important to you. Though we took classes to prepare for labor, nothing felt as effective as our meetings with Paige. Both my husband and I felt so much more prepared and knowledgeable on what to expect and options to look into through our several meetings with her. She encouraged us to follow the path we most wanted but were initially nervous to pursue. Paige is the kind of mom to her kids that I hope to be and I feel so lucky to have gotten to know her and benefit from all her first hand experience.

I would highly recommend Paige! We met virtually and Paige provided me with a wealth of breastfeeding support. She was professional, and helped me gain so much self confidence. Paige was so encouraging through these virtual visits and answered all my questions thoroughly. She was very detailed and went in depth with explanation. I feel so happy about my experience with Paige and am excited to continue this breastfeeding journey with all the new knowledge I have gained!

My husband and I wholeheartedly endorse Paige Weinhandl as a postpartum doula, and recommend her to any parents looking for compassionate, reliable and customized support during their postpartum period. Her guidance helped us navigate our tricky fourth trimester, both in caring for our newborn and ourselves. She consistently provided tailored support that helped us learn and apply different tactics across various parts of postpartum life, especially breastfeeding and sleep strategies. She was kind, dependable and thoughtful, and she truly cared about our wellbeing as a family. She treated our baby as one of her own, and we were comfortable leaving him in her care. Paige was always on time, and we were especially impressed with her proactive communication. We attribute much of our success in navigating life with our newborn to her support — we're so grateful we had her as our postpartum doula!

Paige took such a good care of our little one and was always so patient and thoughtful with our whole family. She was flexible with her schedule while I was trying to figure out what kind of help I need, when, and how often. And she had an amazing ability to help problem solve the situation by providing insights and new ideas while also normalizing what we were going through. Paige was also knowledgeable about breastfeeding and provided me with helpful tips. Paige made our life with a newborn easier when the world seemed to be spinning out of control! I cant imagine doing it without her.

Paige was such an immense help for me, before birth and after birth. She helped me prepare for my unmedicated birth, which went really well because I was confident going into it. But she helped me the most after my baby was born. I had a very hard time. I struggled with postpartum anxiety and depression as well as insomnia. She was the calming presence I needed to help me get through it. She was reassuring, shared her own experiences, and provided solutions to help me. I was blessed with a fiery child who doesn’t like to sleep very much. She worked so hard to help me do a sleep training method I was comfortable with. We used an app that we both had access to and she would check in with me daily to discuss what to do. She also helped me with breastfeeding. I had a very challenging time the first couple months. She listened to my struggles and gave me tips. She also came over and watched me breastfeed so she could see it in person and help with positioning and other tricks which was really helpful. She also made sure that I was fed and taken care of. Paige is very easy to be around and never makes you feel uncomfortable or judged for anything. Would recommend her a thousand times!
