Sarah Tunney is a licensed midwife, clinical researcher and a former historian. She has been involved in maternal, infant and reproductive health advocacy for nearly 30 years. She offers home visits for prenatal, postpartum and newborn care, home births/water births, VBAC, lactation/ breastfeeding support, and at the office she provides full spectrum reproductive health care to all ages (adolescents to perimenopause).

Juli's unique background combines the intuition of traditional midwifery and a strong sense of the spiritual side of the childbearing transition. Juli is fully supportive and embraces all families of every shape, size, color, creed, background, belief, sexual or gender identity. You will find love and caring at Open Heart Midwifery. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. In 2016 Angelica began her formal training as a midwife at Nizhoni Institute Of Midwifery. This includes training in newborn care, breastfeeding, herbs, homeopathy, and other holistic modalities. She has attended many births and has experience at home, birth centers and hospitals. In 2020 She became a Licensed Midwife by the Medical Board of California. . She chose midwifery because she desires to empower women to embrace and trust their capabilities to birth naturally. Along her journey she continues to ground herself, grow and expand her knowledge on birth practices and disparities worldwide. She believes that every person deserves individualized care and informed consent. She stands by supporting moms in the way they see fit.
