About me

Hello! My name is Georgia and I am a trained postpartum doula servicing the Los Angeles region. I have been in the child development field for over 10 years, working as a Certified Child Life Specialist in children’s hospitals and in foster care agencies around the country. I specialize in working with families in high-stress situations, working with them to develop coping techniques and utilizing wellness strategies to promote a sense of peace in the home. As a postpartum doula, I assist in those delicate few weeks as baby is being integrated into the family: feeding support, sleep support, infant care support, and sibling support all included. Education is empowerment and I will always work to provide you with all of the resources at my disposal to ensure that you and your entire family feel equipped to make the decisions that feel right for your unique unit. As a specialist in child development, I also provide insight and education on how best to support the optimal cognitive, physical and emotional development of not only the newest member of the family but also older siblings who may have a hard time adjusting to a new baby in the home. I look forward to collaborating with you and providing you with the nurturing care you need to thrive in your postpartum months.

Georgia is the true definition of a gift. The postpartum phase is raw. Nothing can truly "prepare" you for how it will play out. Yet, having someone in my corner during that time that felt comfortable in my home, was a source of calm, and knowledgeable about all the things I was truly "learning" for the first time as a new Mom was one of the greatest gifts I could have received. Ditch the baby gift registry and invest in postpartum care from Georgia. You'll feel truly held as you step into this new phase as a family with confidence.
