I offer services such as emotional, physical and spiritual support to birthing parents and families during childbirth and postpartum period. My goal is to provide each woman I serve with the utmost care and respect and to fill in the gap of care typically left when birthing at a hospital. To help each couple prepare for birth, be a constant support during birth and to help parents adjust to life with a newborn directly after birth.

Hello loves! I'm Ariel, a certified birth doula, herbal medic and birth photographer. I stumbled into the role of birth attendant in my early twenties by being the peace bringer and atmosphere regulator to all my girlfriends who were having babies. I gave birth to my first just a month after turning 17 and had the wonderful favor of a peaceful birth attendant who did more than rock my hips during labor, she strengthened my resolve and spoke to my body directly, encouraging through the rough parts and tuned my heart to find joy even in the pain. Ever since then I've found myself cultivating a knowledge set that would help women through the many trials of pregnancy, labor and post partum. This is more than a job for me, this is a calling. And every woman who has entered my care becomes a life long sister in birth.

Easy to digest, nutrient dense, flavorful foods are grounding and healing and necessary after you bring an entire human into this world. I have 10 years of experience as a birth/postpartum doula, prenatal yoga teacher and childbirth educator. My passion passion is to nourish mothers postpartum and bring them into balance with food and bodywork. Think of me as the guardian of your fourth trimester. I nourish you inside and out with home cooked, easy to digest, nutrient dense meals, Ayurvedic bodywork, light cleaning, compassion and as a four time mom myself I know how hard and how beautiful this time can be. There was a very pivotal moment in my own healing journey that allowed me to embrace the theme of “going your own way.” During this moment a deep inner wisdom turned on and a true embodiment of self returned home. Doulas strive to provide continuous labor support, and studies have shown that when a women has this continuous support there will be a higher rate of a normal vaginal birth, less likely to have pain medication, less negative feelings, and less Cesareans. Labors are also typically shorter and the baby will less likely to have complications at birth. The presence of a Doula can also be helpful in sharing the partner responsibility allowing them to be more at ease, more present to enjoy the wonder of birth I offer 18+ years healing touch that can begin with massage sessions leading up to your due date. Massage in pregnancy has shown to create better sleep, decrease anxiety and depression, aid in fewer complications during labor and have an overall more positive experience during the first few weeks after birth. I feel comfortable in the ebb and flow and view the birthing process as both very physical and spiritual experience.
