My name is Sydney Mobley. I am a married, mother of two. We are a Christian family who loves Christ! We have a small farm in Lowrys, South Carolina. My family and I love all things outdoors, including our horses, chickens, our Great Pyrenees, Lucy and our garden! Having experienced two very different births myself, I felt called to help empower other women through their own birth experience and help guide them to make the best decisions for their birth, their baby and their families!

My knowledge and expertise stem from many years of hands-on experience with hundreds of babies. My career working with children and families began in 1995 with an in-home daycare and assisting in births. I have been a Certified Postpartum Doula since 2004 and have worked as a Sleep Consultant since 2007. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor. I first established Babies and Beyond in 2010, after spending seven years as a postpartum doula. My expertise in postpartum care allows me to provide support and guidance to new mothers and families as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood. With a deep understanding of what new parents face, and a passion for empowering them, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to every client I serve. Me and my teams main focus is providing in-home nurturing care to mother and baby at night, usually 10pm-6am. Day shifts are available as well. I serve mama’s in the Fort Mill and Charlotte surrounding areas during pregnancy and postpartum. I am married to my best friend, Collin Francis and we just had the most perfect baby girl, Saylor Grace Francis, born at home on July 31st, 2022. Our hearts are so full! I became a doula because I am so passionate about everything pregnancy and birth but most importantly because I believe women and their families need such a strong support system during this season in their life. I worked in the hospital system for almost 4 years on several different units from ER to maternity, went to nursing school and got my LPN degree all to realize I wanted nothing more than to support women holistically. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity Management and Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University. Her oldest, Liam, was born via emergency C-section and her youngest, Ausar, was a VBAC, as a home birth. She has breastfed both of them a total of 6 years. She has extended her knowledge by researching and learning from other mothers who breastfed their little ones in a Facebook Group. She has had the opportunity to become a moderator in the same group. She strives to assist mothers and their families by recommending evidence based research and a holistic approach during prenatal, natal and postpartum.
