Hi! I'm Natasha, a mother of 2 daughters and a birth doula serving the St. Louis, Missouri area and the Metro East area in Southern Illinois since 2021. I like to have a holistic approach to the pregnancy and birth experience. I like to focus on nutrition and positioning techniques during pregnancy to help minimize end-of-pregnancy concerns and labor challenges. I started my doula journey shortly after my first born because I wanted to help other families to know that they do have a voice that matters. Having a cesarean myself, then a HBAC, I have a unique perspective on the difference of each of those experiences. I learned the importance of having the proper support, the right to informed choice and the resources to have a positive pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. That is what I hope I can provide to my community.

At prenatal visits, we’ll review more in detail your birth preferences and options, what to expect from physiological labor and birth, the role of your doula and the role of your birth partner, body balancing (Spinning Babies techniques), comfort measures/techniques to use during labor for pain relief (Aromatherapy, Rebozo, Miles Circuit, Spinning Babies, Acupressure, counterpressure, massage, ect.), creating a birth preference sheet and working through any fears prior to birth. During labor, I’ll offer continuous and unwavering support that involves creating a safe and calm environment, guiding you through the stages of labor, giving suggestions on relaxation techniques and pain relief strategies, and suggestions on different position changes as labor progresses. I can join you at the beginning of your active labor before transitioning to your main birth setting. I do have pre-made laminated birth affirmation cards and essential oils for you to use during labor. I also have LED twinkle lights, LED tea candle lights and a TENS unit to use during labor if desired. Immediate postpartum support includes getting settled, comfortable with your newborn, and helping initiate breastfeeding if desired. At the postpartum visit, we will reflect your birth experience and answer any postpartum questions or concerns. I can also share a few techniques to help relax your baby's nervous system, assist with baby wearing and to help troubleshoot any breastfeeding challenges.
In so many ways, I thank Natasha for helping me achieve my all natural VBAC2! She was an incredible help during labor and delivery. A calm presence, always making helpful suggestions but never pressuring me on anything. She was full of resources and information leading up to birth as well. She also would check in regularly to see how I was feeling and encourage me prenatally and postpartum. I would highly recommend Natasha for doula services!!

We absolutely loved having Natasha as part of our birth team. She was informative, caring, sweet, and reliable. My husband loved having her there for the birth, she was hands off when she needed to be and jumped in without hesitating when assistance was needed. She was super helpful before the birth with providing as much information as we needed and she helped create our birth plan. She was confident and reassuring with helping execute our birth plan in the moment. She was a calming and strong presence. We would highly recommend Natasha to anyone looking for a doula!

Natasha was legitimately a God send! I don’t know how I would have gotten through the whole process without her! As a first time dad, the whole process can make you feel very useless/helpless, and Natasha did a great job at sending resources and topics to read up on and educate myself with, which helped tremendously in the lead up to the delivery….which I thought I was prepared for… Once at the midwife clinic we had a few curve balls thrown our way and it turns out I was not prepared at all for what was about to happen! I was so uncomfortable with the situation, but there was nothing we could do since we were already in labor! If Natasha had not been there, I don’t know what I would have done. Having to deviate from our birth plan a little, deal with new doctors and nurses, all while creating a peaceful and serene environment for my wife to bring our daughter into the world would have been too much for me alone. I will forever be grateful for Natasha and her services, and 5 stars isn’t nearly enough for this review! As a husband, and now a proud dad, speaking to other future dads….I can whole heartedly say that hiring Natasha will be the best money you spend throughout the whole process! I wouldn’t do it again without her♥️

Natasha was wonderful! My wife pursued a double VBAC, and there were multiple times during labor that we almost decided to pursue epidural/C-section. But with Natasha’s consistent and calm support, along with her great recommendations for pain control, my wife successfully had her first vaginal birth! From pre-labor preparatory exercises to post-partum check ins, Natasha was an essential part of our birth experience/story! Would highly recommend her to anyone!

I highly recommend Natasha! Natasha helped me have the birth I wanted for my second child. In the month or so leading up to birth- she gave my husband and I strategies to help prepare for a natural birth and helped us solidify what we were hoping for. It was incredibly empowering to have Natasha as a support- I felt significantly more confident going into labor and managing pain without meds. Natasha also supported any decision I made- and helped me process my options. I had the exact birth I was hoping for and that is because of Natasha!
