My journey into birth work began in 2015 when I was supported during my son's birth by a doula. Inspired, I pursued certification and have since worked with diverse families in various settings across four states. As a mom of two earth side kids, one angel baby, and a bonus daughter, I have personal experience with breastfeeding, cloth diapering, babywearing, and baby-led weaning. My son was born in a hospital with a failed epidural, and my daughter had a dramatic, unassisted home birth. Passionate about non-traditional families, bereavement and trauma healing, I support single parents, LGBTQIA+, many different families with unique spiritual beliefs, families through pregnancy losses, terminal diagnoses, stillbirths, and chosen losses. An adoptee myself, I also support adoption processes. Outside of Stateline Birth Keepers, I advocate for local foster youth, coach youth sports, and engage in the public educational system. I am a Wife, Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor, and extremely passionate about serving the community by reimagining how doula services are offered to marginalized communities. When not working as a doula, you can find me serving as the executive director of a community-based doula program, teaching private and group workshops as a childbirth educator, and supporting families during pregnancy and infant loss.

I’m a Christian wife, mother, and RN who discovered a passion for birth work after having my own babies. While I study towards becoming a midwife, I take on a light load clients as a birth doula. As a birth doula and student midwife, I have the most experience in attending unmedicated labors and do prefer to work with women who have this goal.
