I aim to break those barriers and get answers to all things prenatal, postpartum and newborn assessments and unnecessary treatments given due to protocols and policies that protect themselves and not the patients. After going through multiple pregnancy losses and receiving support from other women, I knew that I wanted to learn how to support women through labor and birth, both in the extreme highs and extreme lows of that journey. I was trained in 2018 and have been practicing ever since! My doula career began in San Antonio and is now continuing in middle Tennessee, where I live with my husband and 3 beautiful children.
