When I had my daughter I didn't even know what support I would need or how to ask for help. After a traumatic birth filled with interventions and 1 week of labor and an failed breastfeeding journey I tried to resolve so many issues between my husband and I. After 6 weeks constantly being told I was a failure as a mother and being invalidated I was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital and started on medication and therapy. Based on my experiences I want to educate, empower, and advocate for women and their families through the whole experience. When I am not working I enjoy volunteering at my church, spending time with my daughter, hanging out with friends, cooking, baking, and crafting. I hope to be able to incorporate these skills into my practice. I look forward to meeting you and I hope that I am a good fit for your family.

Hello everyone, my name is Trisha. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I serve Fort Worth and Dallas. I recently moved here from New Jersey with my husband, 5 kids, cat and dog and I love it here! I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth. I love to be there to help during the most amazing time of everyone's lives and know what a privilege it is to be involved in such a emotional and private time. In my free time I love exploring my new home with my kids and finding new places to see! Family is everything so I love to spend all free time with them.

I have a great love of serving and caring for new mamas and their newborns. It's a passion I've had since a teenager. My first postpartum client was when I was 18 yrs old - before the word doula was ever known. I have 40yrs of experience working with newborns, new parents, as an educator, postpartum doula, nanny, lactation educator, and newborn care specialist. I have worked in the 3rd largest hospital in the country within the maternity unit as a nurse assistant/patient tech. I also sleep condition and train babies to sleep well at night as long as the parents follow through with instructions when I am not there. Baby can sleep between 10-12hr straight. I also travel with the families anywhere they go within my time frame of my contract. Passport/TSI ready. Many families have me between 6weeks-4months.
