Circle of Breasties is dedicated to educating, supporting, empowering, and connecting mothers on their breastfeeding journeys. We provide prenatal and postpartum breastfeeding support in the comfort of your home as well as through telehealth to help you with your goals. We also aim to create an encouraging breastfeeding community for mothers because breastfeeding is a lot easier with a group of ”Breasties” around you.

My personal breastfeeding journey started with the home birth of my first son in 2003. Like many mothers I struggled with breastfeeding. I found La Leche League (LLL), what a blessing in disguise! With the help I was given, I knew this was the path for me to help other mothers. I became a peer to peer breastfeeding counselor within the LLL organization. In 2005 my second son was born via an emergency cesarean delivery,14 weeks early! I learned so much about lactation & breastfeeding a premature baby. In 2008, this evolved into working in the hospital where he was born as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I studied and learned more about human lactation and I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2009. I worked in a hospital setting for 15 years. ​ My experience with two very different breastfeeding situations has fueled my passion to help all parents meet their specific lactation and breastfeeding goals. I graduated from Union Institute & University in 2015 with my Bachelors of Science in Maternal Child Health with an emphasis in Human Lactation.

Since getting her Master in Early Childhood Development degree in 2020, Tiffany has been to several births during the pandemic and serviced scores of families as a postpartum doula. In her capacity as a doula, she believes in providing families with evidence-based answers to their questions. She offers meditations and affirmations for parents to build confidence in their abilities. Along with her book Mindful Minutes for Mothers, she uses tonics and oils to aid in healing. Tiffany is President of the Board of Directors for the Chicago South Side Birth Center. A center helping address inequities in birth outcomes by providing culturally centered midwifery care alongside families and within the community to promote wellness and abundance in whole health. She is also an active member of the Chicago Black Doula Alliance Becoming an Evidence Based Birth© Instructor was the next logical step for Tiffany. Wanting to get information into parents' hands so they can make informed decisions, Tiffany utilizes group and private workshops to get this message out.

I was certified in 2015, and I have served as a volunteer peer breastfeeding counselor since 2011. I have a degree in Psychology and believe that the most important aspect of lactation care is listening closely to the new parent so I can understand their individual situation and feeding goals before working together with them to create a personalized care plan. Having been part of the lactation field for over ten years, my goal is that every new parent feels fully supported during their feeding journey. I provide care in home visits, telehealth, and office visits. I specialize in latch and positioning adjustments for greater comfort in breastfeeding and have expertise in all areas of lactation including pumping, bottle-feeding, tongue tie, weaning, induced lactation, and more. Andrea has made a remarkable impact through her work with the Women Infant and Children (WIC) program at the Lake County Health Department and provided lactation care at Condell Memorial Labor and Delivery. Her expertise encompasses latching support, newborn sleep aid, perinatal disorders, infant growth, antenatal expression and kinesiology with a special focus on infant body work. As a proud veteran of the United States Navy, Andrea's journey took her from North Carolina to Virginia to Illinois with her family in 2021. Her passion lies in guiding and empowering mothers to embrace their breastfeeding experience, providing heartfelt support to help them nourish their babies with the extraordinary gift of breastmilk, no matter their feeding choices. Outside of her professional life, Andrea treasures her time with her husband of 13 years and their three beloved children-two sons and a daughter.
