She is also an active member of the Chicago Black Doula Alliance Becoming an Evidence Based Birth© Instructor was the next logical step for Tiffany. Wanting to get information into parents' hands so they can make informed decisions, Tiffany utilizes group and private workshops to get this message out.

I offer Evidence Based Birth workshops, Newborn classes, and postpartum doula services. My Evidence Based Birth workshops range from a 1 hour course on advocating for your needs in the birth setting; a 3 hour more in-depth workshop on advocating, understanding what evidence-based means, and learning how to have the birth you desire; a 6 week full birth education class, with discussions on interventions, comfort measures, and more. My newborn class is a 2 hour quick dive into all things newborn. We discuss the physical items needed for the baby, checking diapers, sleep, nutrition, vaccinations, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding, along with important conversations on bonding and social/emotional health. We practice hands-on swaddling and diapering a baby too! My postpartum services are either day or night time. The daytime service can be watching and feeding the baby while caretakers do chores, run errands, shower, nap, or I can meal prep, do laundry, and do light housework while caretakers are with the baby. Overnight support I will be with baby, soothing, diapering, if on a bottle, feeding, and washing the bottles and any pump parts. If baby is nursing, I will bring baby to parent for feeding, and bring them back in the room. I can offer lactation support if needed.
