About me

I am a Mom, Wife, Certified Birth Doula, Lactation Education Specialist, Childbirth Educator, and Student Midwife. I trained with Child Birth International, one of the few certifying organizations awarded with accreditation from The American Nurses Credentialing Center. I am passionate about empowering families to welcome their littles ones in the way they see fit and providing an encouraging presence throughout their journey. I believe everything about Birth is mystical in that it inspires a sense of mystery, awe and fascination. I hope to empower my clients to see how magical they truly are. I am committed to supporting familiesof all structures, identities, religions, cultures, and provide a wide range of support resources.

Birth Doula Support
Free Consultation 2-3 Prenatal Visits: Visits will be 60-90 minutes long. In addition to getting to know you and your partner (should you have one), visits can consist of (but are not limited to) any of the following in any order you choose: Discussing your ideal birth vision Creating a birth and/or postpartum plan Discussing and working through any fears or anxieties (you or your partner’s) Practicing comfort techniques Running through the stages and phases of labor I will be giving you my personal contact information for 24/7 informational/emotional support from the time you hire me. Feel free to call, text or email me any time with any questions, concerns or for encouragement/comfort. I also provide educational materials for Prenatal, Birth Prep, Breast/Chest Feeding, and cheat sheets for your partner. I commit to being on call to attend your birth from 38-42 weeks gestation. Birth Back Up Doula Provided Postpartum: I will provide 1-2 hours of immediate postpartum assistance after the birth to make sure you are comfortable, assist with initial breastfeeding and be with you until your family is ready for quiet time together. Postpartum/Follow-up visit - This visit will be made within 1-3 weeks after the birth. During this visit I can (but am not limited to): Help you debrief after the birth Discuss questions or concerns Check on breastfeeding progress (should you choose to breastfeed) Discuss mood and mental health concerns Provide you with referrals or resources for any postpartum needs.
