Hi I’m Phyllis Sharp, a mother of 5 children. I have been a full time doula for 5yrs. I love supporting birthing families. I am also a certified lactation counselor and enjoy sharing my knowledge to help others have a successful feeding journey.

Passion and a genuine desire to support and empower people is what brought me to birth work nearly 15 years ago. Additionally, I serve as a trusted resource for evidence-based information on various topics including breastfeeding, postpartum care, and infant care. I am committed to accessibility and inclusivity, and I collaborate with community organizations to offer low-cost and free services to under-resourced individuals and families. In addition, I've established and maintain a bi-weekly breastfeeding support group, fostering connection and providing vital support to lactating individuals. Through collaboration with local healthcare professionals, including Midwives, Doulas, and IBCLCs, I actively identify and address challenges within the community, striving to create positive changes and support families in their journey towards parenthood.
