About me
LaKeisha Washington, MPA, CD(DONA), CLC, is very passionate about maternal health and birth. She is a wife, and a mother; it was through her very different birthing experiences, she found her love for birth. LaKeisha wants your birth to feel empowering and for you to be informed and respected during your pregnancy and birthing process. She is a DONA International Certified Birth Doula, and is a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. She is also a member of the National Black Doulas Association (NBDA) and is a Certified Placenta Practitioner through the NBDA.
