I have been a birth/postpartum doula for almost a year. I have experiences in both the home and hospital. I also have my placenta encapsulation certification and breastfeeding peer support certification. I have assisted numerous families with breastfeeding. My friends and family calls me the breastfeeding guru. I have 2 boys and they are the reason why I am in the line of work today. I have had both hospital and home birth experiences with my two. I’ve breastfed my oldest for 2 1/2 years and I am currently breastfeeding my now 2 year old. I believe that every birthing person’s journey through pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum is very sacred and needs to be supported in every way.

My doula journey began 5 years ago while living on the beautiful island of Hawaii. Living in Hawaii was such an experience for me. The culture and dynamic there was truly eye opening, especially the birth culture. I started supporting clients during the peak of covid, which led me to really focus on childbirth education due to the limitations in the hospitals at the time. My first two babies were the traditional induction/hospital births and after my training and working with families, I was able to apply my knowledge with my last baby. I hired a doula for myself and was able to see how wonderful our bodies truly are. My passion for birth and supporting women only grew from here. I am so passionate about bringing families the education and support they desire while they embark on this wonderful journey of parenthood!

Hi there! My passion for birthwork all began when I had a life changing experience with my third birth! I learn so much throughout my entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. I also had the pleasure of having a doula with me throughout my entire birth! Every expectant mother should have a doula! After seeing how much of a difference it made having all the education and tools to experience a completely different birth outcome for myself I went on to gain my certification so I can help as many mothers as I can. Mother's Helper was established in 1988 by Lin Cook to help new mothers with the myriad of questions commonly asked about caring for a new baby. Mother's Helper first offered postpartum doula in-home care for new mothers and then later added Bradley Childbirth and Infant Massage classes.
