I want to start of by saying I’m in school becoming a doula, so this will basically be free of charge. (Other than traveling cost) but, I need two women who are willing to trust me to be their birth partner so that I may graduate from my class. I am top of my class, have finished early, other than having to complete two live births where I’m the head doula. I’d be doing everything a certified doula would be doing. Im 27, I have 5 kids of my own. I have given birth vaginally with an epidural, without an epidural, and my 5th kid decided he wasn’t coming out after he broke my water at 33 weeks & I had to have a random emergency C section to a super preemie baby. So I’m personally experienced in child birth, & have chosen to help other women because I felt alone, I didn’t understand at times. So I decided to educate myself and help other women so they don’t feel that way. I’m judge free, you will feel safe and comfortable with me, I promise. Your wants and needs will be heard. If you are interested, reach out to me.

Hello there! Welcome and thank you for taking the time to get to know me and the services I offer. I want to take a moment to congratulate you on this incredible journey you are on to becoming a parent. You are taking important steps and doing your research just by being here. We are all experts here. I am an expert on birth and support. You are an expert on your body and your baby. Your partner is an expert on you and your needs. I support all birth plans and recognize that you are an individual and your birth is exactly that, yours. I support you in whatever you desire and choose whether that is an unmedicated birth, medicated birth, induction, planned cesarean, VBAC, home birth, etc. I made the decision to pursue birth work because I had an amazing birth experience and happily shared my story. By sharing, I quickly discovered that many people did not have a positive experience and that traumatic experiences were the norm. This sparked a passion to serve families and help change the narrative of birth experiences. I have served 8 families over the past 2 years as a postpartum doula and it is a dream career! I enjoy working overnights so parents can get much needed sleep but I am also available for daytime shifts.

I have a heart to support birthing and postpartum mothers. After marrying my highschool sweetheart, earning my Bachleor’s degree in psychology and becoming pregnant with our first child, I became interested in becoming a doula. I later trained at the Indie Birth Association, which emphasizes autonomous and natural birthing practices, as well as Uzazi Village, which prioritizes birth assistance for black and brown families. These Associations have given me unique experiences to better serve families. I’m so grateful for my supportive husband, with whom I now have 4 young children, for encouraging me to pursue my dreams. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, homeschool my children, go to church with my family, read the Word, work on handcrafts, garden, explore the outdoors (kids and dirt were made for each other!) and continue my birth work education to become a midwife one day.
“I wish I knew about Bornbir sooner, as it's so important to surround yourself with experts who understand during those overwhelming moments and share evidence-based information.”
“I found my birth doula on Bornbir. After submitting my needs, I was able to connect with several awesome doulas that are within a local distance from me.”
“Bornbir is a powerful network. It makes connecting with maternal providers so much easier. It means supporting one another through this parenthood journey, no matter what stage you are in.”
