About me
Hello! I’m Tamara & I’d love to work with you & your partner to achieve the birth experience of your dreams! I'm a former registered nurse who became a certified birth doula, postpartum doula and childbirth instructor because I absolutely LOVE helping expecting parents navigate their incredible journey through pregnancy, labor & delivery, and welcoming a newborn baby into their lives. As the owner of MomRN Birth Services, I proudly serve clients in the Oklahoma City Metro and surrounding areas. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to take a course to learn about all the procedures and options for childbirth. I was looking for someone who would be able to give me unbiased information about both medicated and unmedicated birthing options. When I found Tamara and read her background- I knew she would be the best fit for my needs. Through the curriculum- my husband and I were able to understand what types of procedures are offered and the pro's/con's of each. The course and Tamara's own experience with giving birth and being a doula was so helpful for us to feel confident in our decisions for the birth plan and prepared for what is to come. I cannot recommend Tamara enough! She has the kindest demeanor and is so comforting. The knowledge we gained from her class was ESSENTIAL for us to move forward and feel comfortable and confident. I learned SO much and am a firm believer that everyone who is pregnant and has questions about their birthing options should take her class. She's the best!!!
