My doula practice blends the art of holding space and the science of our awe-inspiring bodies. I am passionate about providing doula care that honours you, your family, and your birth. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered during pregnancy, childbirth, and onwards into parenthood. Danielle's face, she has medium-length brown hair, blue eyes and glasses, and is smiling wide. I believe in the physiology of birth - that you, your body, and your baby instinctively know how to birth - and that you are the expert on your care. My goal is to help you feel educated about childbirth and all of your options, and confident and supported in your choices. I aim to create a safe and comfortable space for you to thrive in your birth and journey into new parenthood. Before I trained as a doula, I studied neurobiology for ten years. From my time as a scientist I bring curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of research rabbit holes. I am fascinated by all aspects of birth, from the biological mysteries to the diversity of global birth practices. I strive to understand the history that shapes modern birth culture, and to be informed on the best evidence-based practices in perinatal care.

Hello there! I’m Greer Sargeant (She/Her/Hers), I live in Charlotte, Vermont, and grew up in the area. Most days, you can find me caring for newly postpartum families or supporting a birth. I am primarily known for my birth and postpartum doula work, as well as childbirth education. I have years of experience working with infants and families. My doula career has been filled with unique individuals who have allowed me to gain broad experiences. Specifically, I have frequently supported Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) families, birthers of color, LGBTQ folks, and people with a history of anxiety and depression. I work with people who desire to have an empowered birth and postpartum experience. I am blessed to show families how to enter and engage in parenthood with the education and support they need to flourish.

I grew up in Connecticut in a loving neighborhood called Brookside Place. After graduating from The University of New Hampshire, I moved out to Los Angeles and became a talent manager in the entertainment industry. Several years later while supporting a family member through birth and parenthood I became fascinated by pregnancy, labor, and newborn care. Overnight I decided this was the path I was supposed to be on, and haven’t looked back since! My pratice has now expanded to included sleep coaching, as I find navigating good sleep habits with a newborn can be tricky and a daunting task to take on alone! My fiancé and I will be moving back to New England in 2024 to start our own family and I couldn’t be more excited to move my pratice back East. Right now I am available virtually as a consultant, and will open up my pratice full time in the coming months.

Hello! I’m Dani. I’m originally from Massachusetts, but I’ve been living in Chittenden county for the past seven years. I spent years in the restaurant industry, but it was so defeating, and not what I wanted as a lifetime career. I obtained my business degree while working in multiple fields (non-profit world, healthcare, etc.). Nothing ever felt like, “This is it. This is what I want to do with my life”. Nothing ever felt like my true calling. When I became pregnant, I decided I would stop working all together, as much as a financial burden as it would be, and focus on being a mom. Little did I know, this is when I would figure it all out. I became interested in becoming a doula almost immediately after my son was born. My husband went back to work, and I felt overwhelmed and lonely not having any family where I live and few friends close-by. Despite having about 20 years working with children, I was still scared that I just didn’t have all of the information I needed to be a confident parent. The unknown is scary, and there was a lot of unknown. I wanted to learn how to help others like myself, and the more I learned, the more interested I became. Being a new parent is no joke, and there’s so much that people don’t tell you. I decided that I want to help other families feel supported and educated to feel more confident and less scared/overwhelmed with being new parents. I value accessible care for all. Our country has a history of inaccessible, unaffordable, and inequitable healthcare. It results in humans not getting the diagnoses, treatments, and supports that they need. My mission is to contribute to making healthcare accessible by making my work of being a postpartum doula accessible to individuals regardless of race, sexual orientation, or income. It is my responsibility to continuously educate myself on important issues in order to provide informed care for my clients. In addition to my regular rates, I provide financial options to those facing economic hardship either through scholarships or a sliding scale rate. I also provide BIPOC & LGBTQ+ discounts. Please reach out if you would like a postpartum doula but are afraid that you cannot afford one.

I am a Doula, Usui Holy Fire® II Reiki Practitioner, and a Certifying Reflexologist with a background as a Personal Support Worker, and Business Administrative Graduate from Loyalist College. I have a true passion for supporting others in any way I can with empathy, love, and care. 6 years ago, a little boy came into my life in a way I did not expect. I had very little support, nobody took the time to be there and educate me properly despite my efforts to ask questions about labour and birth. I really felt alone in the experience… When the time came to give birth the OBGYN I had was in the hospital long enough to break my water and then was “off for the night”. I ended up with some complete stranger, who was rude, yelled at me, and impatient. He didn’t listen to me, and made me feel very uncomfortable! My son ended up coming out very quickly due to receiving an unnecessary episiotomy (I found this out at my 6 week post birth checkup). This resulted in my son not having mucus squeezed out of his lungs and having issues breathing on his own, he had low APGAR scores and was rushed to the NICU with very little communication from the nurses or the doctor while they stitched me up. The pain I had been feeling escalated as I had no baby, no support and a doctor who had no regards for me as a human… He would get frustrated with me every time I flinched involuntarily and tell me to relax while he stitched me up- he did not believe I could feel it. My epidural had failed with my son. I felt everything. The next couple of days in the hospital were a blur.. I felt a little helpless as I dealt with being sore… nobody had the time to show me how to breastfeed (which failed in epic proportions)… nothing was going right. I had all these plans while pregnant… and none of them were working out, nothing I hoped for was happening. This was the start of postpartum depression With my youngest, I knew better and had learned so much along the way from my personal experience. I was wiser, I knew what to ask and how to advocate. I have an incredible drive to be there for others, this is such a crucial time in your life. Nobody should have to feel alone. This is why I have also become an Evidence Based Birth Professional Member. All I needed was support. This is my why. I want to support YOU, no matter the way you need. I want to be there, educate, and help you through it all 🧡 Labour, Birth, and Postpartum.

Hi, I'm Lindsey! I'm newer to the doula community working towards certification. I made the transition to doula care from being a nurse. I practiced in reproductive health, family medicine, and pediatric care. I have spent the last few years absorbing everything I can get my hands on related to birth and go about my day listening to my favorite podcasts- all of them about birth maybe a few conspiracy shows too. I take a fairly natural approach to my life and my personal health but I understand that that is not an easy or sustainable choice for everyone. I completed my doula training with DONA International, as well as child birth and lactation education. I seize every opportunity I have to attend classes to further my education in all health related fields. In the summer I spend my free time kayaking or gardening and in the colder months I hand stitch quilts! I look forward to getting to know you, your family, and understanding your values surrounding your pregnancy and birth so that I can be a strong asset and advocate for you- I want your birth experience to be everything you may hope, pray, and dream of!

Being a doula isn’t a job, it’s a privilege! I am honored to be able to assist families in some of the most transformative times in their lives. My approach when working with women and their families is to offer education and encouragement, which in turn helps them to feel confident as they approach and experience their baby’s birth. I provide evidence-based information and listen to what matters to my clients, and then we work together toward achieving their goals. Throughout pregnancy and especially during labor, I provide consistent, calm reassurance and guidance. I began my doula career in 2012 through DONA International and I am a Birth Beautifully Certified Birth Doula, Birth Beautifully Certified Childbirth Educator, and Birth Beautifully Birth Doula Trainer. I am also a Certified VBAC Doula through the VBAC Link, and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula through the Midwifery Institute. With a wide variety of doula experience — including medicated and unmedicated labors, spontaneous and induced labors, hospital birth and homebirth — my knowledge and understanding is put to use to help reduce my clients’ anxiety and increase their confidence. I have a special place in my heart for women suffering with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) during their pregnancies, as I myself have dealt with it five times. I believe the best pregnancies, births, and postpartum experiences happen when women and their families feel supported, and I would be honored to do that for your family.

I am a trained birth and postpartum doula (CAPPA) providing care in the New York capital region from Albany to Glens Falls. As a Registered Dietitian I enjoy utilizing my nutrition background to help clients navigate the demanding physical and emotional demands of pregnancy and postpartum. I offer comprehensive birth and postpartum support, including overnight care to prioritize rest for new parents. I also incorporate my knowledge of perinatal nutrition to facilitate a nourishing pregnancy and postpartum recovery. My philosophy around birth and nutrition stem from the same principle; that our bodies and intuition are stronger than we often realize. I embrace an intuitive eating approach which relies on tuning inward and building trust with the body. These same skills can be employed when preparing for birth. I believe that you are the expert of your own body, and I am here to be a trusted source of evidence-based information and emotional support as you navigate pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.

Anna Siwakoti (she/her) is a holistic reproductive practitioner and prenatal educator. Her journey to become a holistic reproductive practitioner began before she was even born. I’m Elissa – a wife, mother, author, writer, and postpartum professional. As a postpartum doula and mentor, I work with parents before and after welcoming baby into their lives. Society pushes a lot of opinions onto new parents about how they should care for their newborn. I get to empower them to become the parents they want to be.
