I am a clinically trained counsellor by trade with several years working with mental health, addiction and trauma; I aim to bring this training and knowledge to support my clients in understanding their mental health and processing any birth trauma they may have endured.

I am happily married to my best friend, and we are blessed with two wonderful sons. My interest in birth and breastfeeding has always been a passion of mine. The birth of my first son was at the hospital and was a life-changing experience that ignited a fire within me. I knew then that I wanted to support families as they welcomed, nourished, and nurtured new life. I became a certified doula in January of 2021 and began attending births. Being welcomed into someone's birth space is an incredible honor. Witnessing the transformative and miraculous experience of birth is truly awe-inspiring. In 2022, we welcomed our second baby at home, and the night and day difference in my experiences solidified my dream of becoming a midwife. I grew up with a mom who worked in labor and delivery for most of my early childhood and was obsessed with hearing the birth stories of her patients. I learned what a doula was in 2015 and have since believed deep in my soul that becoming a doula is part of my life calling, my destiny, my fate…whatever you want to call it. I am deeply passionate about this work. I believe that every birth is natural - and whether it is a vaginal, medicated or unmedicated, or cesarean birth - every type of birth demands support and deserves celebration.
