About me

I am a wife, mother to 4 and birth doula for Spokane and the surrounding area. My own births showed me what a difference a birth doula can make in a birth and I strive to provide the same care for my clients.

Service introduction

Prenatal and birth services for women looking for support during labor. I have years of birth experience and hands on training.

Packages

Basic package

One 60-minute initial consultation free of charge either in person or over video call. Two prenatal meetings to: discuss your ideal birth, review what to expect during labor and delivery, create a birth plan, discuss how we will optimize comfort during labor and delivery, and help you plan for the postpartum period. Prenatal support during your pregnancy to answer your questions, provide resources related to pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum and breastfeeding, full access to my library of books on pregnancy labor, birth, VBAC, postpartum and breastfeeding. I am on call for you 24/7 for labor and birth support. After the birth of your baby, I will stay up to 3 hours to make sure you and baby are settled in and to help get you started breastfeeding (if desired). I provide 2 postpartum visits to check in help you process the birth and to discuss how you and baby are adjusting to life postpartum.

If you're looking to hire a birth doula I highly recommend Tarissa. She went above and beyond for my at home labor, she helped me so much with coping with contractions. When we needed to transfer, she went with us. I'm so grateful she was with me during my c section. She was an absolute god send.
