Hey! My name is Erika. I live in beautiful Eastern Washington with my husband and 2 children. After a difficult experience breastfeeding my first child, I decided to embark on the long process to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I currently work with feeding challenges both in hospital with newborns, in an outpatient clinic helping babies up to 3 weeks and also do in home or virtual visits for the entirety of your breastfeeding journey. I have taken courses to be certified in oral tethers (tongue/lip ties), difficult latch, bottle refusal, and infant weight issues. I am here to help encourage and support you during the transition to breastfeeding your new baby. We contract with The Lactation Network for most insurances.

As your doula, lactation specialist and your health advocate, my goal is to compassionately support you through your parenthood experience. I apply a holistic approach to my practice, combining ancient wisdom with evidenced based science to give you a full range of information. My goal is to create a safe space for you to feel connected, honored, and supported in the decisions that give you peace and joy. Hi, I'm Sierra! I'm a doula/lactation counselor local to the PNW. I am also a descendant of the Coeur D'Alene Tribe and an archery enthusiast. It is my intention to serve every family I can with a focus on Indigenous and low-income peoples. ♥️ I have always had a calling to serve others in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. After having my first child at home I was inspired to become a doula. I feel that this calling has fulfilled my dream of genuinely serving community as well as satisfied my desire to continuously learn and share knowledge with others. I am now a year into my journey and have completed two doula trainings. I am a Certified Indigenous Lactation Counselor, first aid & CPR certified, food worker certified, and bloodborne pathogens certified. I am also currently working toward an Indigenous childbirth educator certification and learning Salish!

My name is Kelsey Smith. I am a wife, mother, RN, Lactation Educator and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. In 2015, my daughter was born and so was my passion for the world of lactation. With both children, breastfeeding didn't come easily. Each new child brought new challenges that with hard work and perseverance, we ultimately overcame. I saw this world that could be so beautiful and so incredibly frustrating all at the same time and knew I wanted to be a part of it. My experience and challenges led me to want to help others entering the world of breastfeeding. As a registered nurse, I've seen first hand the lack of support offered to mothers during the post partum period and knew I wanted to be part of that change. This led me to begin my journey to become a Lactation Consultant. I love working with families to help them meet their breastfeeding goals, whatever those may be. I am a graduate of the Pathway 2 Lactation Consultant program through UCSD and have also served as a mother to mother support with La Leche League International since 2016. I also hold a current membership with the international organization ILCA. Being a mom is hard enough, and trying to navigate it alone is even harder. I am a full spectrum doula (birth, postpartum, and even stillbirth/miscarriage/abortions) serving the Spokane and North Idaho areas, and have experience with twin births, intervention-free births, and births with no interventions involved. I serve birth people however and wherever they would like to birth. When I'm not attending births and helping postpartum families, I'm fostering kitties for a local rescue, while also loving on my new grandson. I can't wait to be able to support you!
