About me

As your doula, lactation specialist and your health advocate, my goal is to compassionately support you through your parenthood experience. I apply a holistic approach to my practice, combining ancient wisdom with evidenced based science to give you a full range of information. My goal is to create a safe space for you to feel connected, honored, and supported in the decisions that give you peace and joy. This is a very challenging, vulnerable, and intimate time in life and having someone to guide you through your journey can be immeasurable. I feel humbled and honored to work beside parents in this transformational time.

Lactation Consult -Offices in Lewiston, ID and Moscow, ID and Home visits options within 45miles in first week postpartum -Insurance offering through TLN (blommamomma.com/services) which offers 100% Free visits...yes you pay nothing if you are covered through them! ​ 90 minute Initial consultation: During our visits we address concerns or challenges you may have and empower you with tips and a plan to meet your breastfeeding or feeding goals. I use a holistic, evidence based approach to evaluate any issues and work to find a root cause. This means looking at medical history, social and emotional history, and more. I work with your providers and refer to specialists where needed. I also assess body restrictions and can show families stretches and techniques to optimize feeding. ​ You may need support with: Wanting to get breastfeeding off to a great start Prenatal education or concerns Coaching and postpartum support even if you don't have any particular breastfeeding issues Painful latch or struggles to latch Nipple damage and more

Full Lactation Visit Initial Visit (often covered with insurance)
90-120min, includes holistic evaluation of medical history and feeding journey to date. Addressing immediate issues through assessing infant oral function, weighted feeds, nipple or breast pain, pumping, latch fine tuning and positioning, and advanced holistic herbal wellness support and bodywork/movement techniques. We can also support with advanced labwork evaluations in conjunction with your primary care provider. We end our visit with a comprehensive written plan. We have advanced skills with: colic, eczema, and reflux latch and body mechanics potential food sensitivities constipation and gut issues low milk supply and oversupply complex medical or autoimmune diagnosises of mother or infant discontinuing triple feeding and options mastitis and plugged ducts returning to work bottle intro-refusal nipple pain oral ties and more! Most major insurances or healthshares may cover lactation care be sure to check if you are covered! Multiples incur an additional $65 fee.
