About me
Hello, I am a certified Postpartum Doula living in West LA with my husband and two children. We are a British family and we moved over here from London in 2019. We have since created a wonderful new life for ourselves in the LA sunshine. Since becoming a mother myself, I’ve realized I have a nurturing spirit inside me. My goal, as a certified postpartum doula, is to support and educate families through their transition into the 4th trimester, by providing a safe, and empowering space to heal and connect with their new baby.

My services include the following: Infant Care: Caring for baby so parents can sleep, feeding support (breast/chest and bottle), Sleep guidence, diapering, Bathing, Baby wearing, restocking/organizing changing stations and nursery. Parent Support: Self-care recovery comfort measures, Parent and infant bonding, Emotional processing, preparation of light snacks and nourishing and healing meals, Light housework (i.e. bottle cleaning and preparation, dishes, infant laundry) errands, Food Shopping, Pet adjustment. Appointments: Accompaniment at OB/GYN, midwife, or pediatrician appointments. Referrals: Obtaining evidence-based information and referrals to other professionals if necessary.

I can’t recommend Kate enough. After welcoming our second daughter, she provided invaluable support to my family. Her help throughout the day was incredible, especially while keeping up with our toddler. Kate assisted with newborn care, offered breastfeeding advice, and helped keep the house organized. Plus, she prepared amazing nutritional meals that massively helped my recovery and boosted milk supply. Her support truly made our transition to two kids much smoother and easier. And final point, Kate is such a naturally caring and kind person so it was a joy to have her in our home!

Having Kate as a postpartum doula was the most incredible experience. Even as a mum of 4, I so appreciated her expertise and encouragement when settling into life with a new baby. And I really truly needed the rest! Knowing I could sleep while she cared for Florence and got the house feeling so tidy and fresh was the greatest gift for a new parent! The sessions with Kate allowed me to have such a positive, calm start to life with the baby. Kate is so kind, cooks delicious food and sees what needs to be done, lifting such a weight off our shoulders!
