I embarked on this beautiful journey in 2021 when I assisted a mama during her freebirth (the practice of women birthing their baby without medical or midwifery assistance.) Witnessing the police being called on her twice and other people trying to object to her BIRTH RIGHTS, I decided to become a certified Doula (a professional labor assistant who provides physical and emotional support to you and your partner during pregnancy) so that I may advocate for all birthing people and their partners.

Cayleigh is a wife to Michael and mother to six children. Her passion for birth and all things maternal health began at the young age of fifteen as she began serving her family and friends through childbirth as a Doula. Throughout the years the desire to amplify the voices of mothers grew and Cayleigh's passion was on fire. She has maintained official certification as a Doula for five years and founded Birthing Well Doula Agency in an effort to serve her community in a deeper manner. The heart behind the agency is to mentor other Birth Workers while expanding accessibility to families in and around Tennessee. Her vision is to facilitate ministry to all who wish to acknowledge their calling into motherhood. I'm Hannah, I am a social worker and mother of 4 children who were all exclusively breastfed. I have attended a C-section twin birth, one home birth and two hospital vaginal births. Hello! My name is Amanda Millsap. I’m a midwive’s assistant turned doula. I think my experience is a little bit unique in the fact that I attended around 60 home births before I ever helped parents out in a hospital setting. I have since become quite familiar with the hospitals in Chattanooga and Dalton, and have worked with many providers in these areas. I have a compiled list of other providers also. For example, chiropractors, pelvic floor therapist, massage therapist and more. It is my goal to provide you with education surrounding parenthood, help you and your family navigate through unfamiliar territory, and hopefully help you feel confident in your decisions. After going through multiple pregnancy losses and receiving support from other women, I knew that I wanted to learn how to support women through labor and birth, both in the extreme highs and extreme lows of that journey. I was trained in 2018 and have been practicing ever since! My doula career began in San Antonio and is now continuing in middle Tennessee, where I live with my husband and 3 beautiful children.
