Hello my name is Doula Asia . I like to consider myself as a DOULAPRENEUR I am the owner of Doula Love, Light, & Life LLC. I am a Mom, Community Health Worker and Maternal Health Advocate. I became a full spectrum doula in 2020 because I want all birthing people to know they have options and a voice that can and will be heard when it comes to their body and baby. I want to help you know what questions to ask your provider, to know how to advocate for yourself, and to know there is someone in your corner to support you through pregnancy/birth/and postpartum journey. Hi, my name is Jacquelyne. As a mom of 6 , I had 4 home births, 2 hospital C-sections due to complications/bed rest for months, as well as the loss in 4 miscarriages. I have experienced the highs and lows that come with pregnancy, loss and feeling alone, vulnerable, unsupported during labor, scared because I was uninformed on my choices. This inspired me to become a doula. I want to make difference in the way birth and postpartum is done. It is very important to me that the pregnant person feels validated, educated, advocated for, and your voice heard and choices acknowledged. I am very passionate about all things pregnancy related, birth, and postpartum, and currently offer Birth and postpartum support, but I am also a student Midwife, and will be able to offer those services in the future. I love to chat with you to see how I could support you in your upcoming pregnancy!

Becoming a doula stemmed from a deeply personal journey for me. As a mother of 5, I have personally experienced the highs and lows of childbirth, including heartbreaking miscarriages, and scary pregnancy complications that left me feeling vulnerable and alone. These experiences ignited a spiritual calling within me to support and comfort other mothers during their birthing journeys. I saw the need for a compassionate advocate to stand by their side, providing guidance, emotional support, and a comforting presence throughout the transformative process of bringing new life into the world. It is through my own trials and triumphs that I found my purpose as a doula, driven by empathy and a heartfelt desire to be a source of strength for other women during one of the most significant moments of their lives. The cost of doula services can be a concern for many expecting mothers, but I understand the importance and value of having a supportive doula by your side during this special time. Every woman deserves access to doula support, which is why we can work together to create a personalized package that fits not only your needs but also your financial situation. I believe in making doula services accessible and affordable to all women, ensuring that you have the care and guidance you deserve throughout your pregnancy and childbirth journey.

I’m Kelley, St. Louis birth doula, mom to 3 boys, married to the guy I fell in love with in high school. I became obsessed with birth after our first was born via cesarean after an induction for “dates” for “failure to progress.” Air quotes intended. The disappointment I felt surprised me; I dove into research about birth in America. I learned all about my fertility, chose a provider who would be supportive of a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), and hired a doula. Best laid plans and all that… I had a cesarean for high blood pressure at 42 weeks. I definitely still felt disappointed over his birth, but because I was educated and well supported, I knew we had made the best decisions with the options we had. I still planned for VBA2C for baby #3, and was able to push him out of my body right into his daddy’s hands – with a lot of help from my medical team for high blood pressure again, and so much support from my doula. When my former industry got flip-turned upside down and my structural engineering days were forced to end, I decided to follow my passion and dreams and become a birth doula, and now life has moved us from our native Houston to St. Louis. I see my role as a birth doula like being a good coach. I’m on the sidelines with all the information for you, but you’re the one who has to execute the plays. I’m here to educate you and support you whether you’re having a baby at home in the water with twinkle lights, epidural or not at the hospital, or a planned cesarean. I’m going to meet you where you are and dig down into that hole with you. And after the baby is here and you’re overwhelmed, I’m available to help you out, listen to you, and get you through those first few weeks. When I’m not doula-ing, I’m training Jiu Jitsu, at the baseball fields, a wrestling meet, a choir or band event, playing banjo, or I’ve got my nose stuck in a book. And I’m always down for some Tex-Mex.

Hello! I'm a specialized postpartum doula with a passion for holistic well-being and a heart committed to supporting mothers on their unique journeys. My approach to postpartum care is a blend of researched practices and traditions that promote both physical and mental healing. My belief is simple yet profound – healing involves the mind, body, and soul, nurtured through compassionate support, nourishing food, and the space to rest. I am dedicated to helping moms recover faster, become stronger, and feel their absolute best, empowering them to be the best parents they can be. My personal postpartum struggles guided me on my path into the world of postpartum care. Turning my challenges into an opportunity to support others, I am dedicated to meeting moms where they are in their postpartum journey and helping them achieve their goals. I've learned a lot of practical knowledge through my postpartum journeys – breastfeeding all three of my children, tandem nursing twins, using cloth diapers, creating homemade baby food, and embracing baby wearing, that I am eager to share. I love helping moms integrate these practices into their lives. I am passionate about holistic practices, but am also comfortable around modern medicine. My approach is rooted in understanding and respecting each family's choices. My strengths shine brightest when engaging with mothers – whether it's during heartfelt conversations, changing diapers, or bringing nourishing meals. I hope to create a calming, caring, and supportive space that shines light on the path of each mother I have the opportunity to support.
