Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a Birth Arts International certified Postpartum Doula in Pennsburg. I am here to support you after birth so you can rest, bond with baby, and be educated on what to expect in the postpartum. Postpartum is a time for Moms to rest and heal from childbirth. I will take on the daily household chores, snack and meal preparation, laundry, and more so you can rest with baby! I also provide Moms with emotional support as you experience the normal ups and downs due to hormonal changes after giving birth. I listen without judgement and provide advice and encouragement when needed. I will help you process your birth story, provide emotional and mental health support, and always show empathy, understanding, and companionship - you are not alone in this! Whether you choose to breastfeed or bottle feed, I will support and encourage you during those first few weeks with baby. Breastfeeding may be natural, but it can be challenging in the beginning. I offer breastfeeding advice and support with nursing positions, proper latch, tips, and resources throughout your breastfeeding journey
Amanda was an angel during my postpartum. She listened to what I needed, is respectful, friendly and warm. She made me feel seen and special during a difficult time. She even made meals so we didn’t have to stress about dinner for a few nights. Highly recommend her services!
