Hello! I am Carly Bev Robertson, a Nationally Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed to practice in the great state of Texas, serving communities in and around North Austin. The call to midwifery came after years of exploring alternative and holistic wellness, specifically surrounding reproductive health. I studied through the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training Program and worked as a full-time apprentice midwife in a thriving home birth practice in New Braunfels, TX. During my training, I also certified as a birth and postpartum doula through Doula Trainings International, attended the instructor training through Dancing for Birth, and became a member of The Association of Texas Midwives. Shortly after graduating midwifery school, my sweet husband and I moved back to our home town of North Austin. I began setting up my practice, while simultaneously assisting other midwives within the community and working part time at a lovely local birth center. After settling down in charming Taylor, TX — our little family grew by one more with the incredible blessing of our son, Samuel. He is such an amazing goofball and being his momma has been one of the greatest joys of my life. With a mantra of “growing is forever,” I am continuously learning and stretching with deep roots and upward strength — as an individual, as a wife, as a mother, and as a midwife. I am currently trained in first aid, CPR, and AED, certified through The American Heart Association. I am also currently trained and certified in Neonatal Resuscitation through the American Academy of Pediatrics. I have taken the Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics training, Trauma Informed Care for Birth Professionals Training, and more… I consistently study varying topics as means of continuing education to stay up to date on current research, as well as a means to continue integrating traditional midwifery techniques and wisdom. I was born and raised in DFW. My family and friends mean the world to me. Having a sense of community is so important. My favorite people in the world call me Aunt Dani! In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, practicing hot yoga, working out, going to church, and sewing. My faith has definitely helped shape me as a midwife. Hallowed means regarded as holy or sacred. To me birth is a very sacred experience that should be treated as such. Before stepping into the role of a midwife, I spent nearly three years as a labor and delivery nurse in a hospital setting. It provided me with a solid foundation and invaluable experience, but I slowly came to realize that my values did not align with the hospital culture. When I moved to San Diego in 2018 I decided to leave the hospital and pursue my dream of becoming a midwife. During my training I truly fell in love with home birth. Witnessing a baby enter this world in the very place they will grow up is an incredibly special and sacred experience that deeply touches my heart. During my midwifery training, I made the decision to move back to Texas, wanting to be closer to my family and friends. ​ After completing my midwifery education I began working at a birth center. The birth center was an amazing experience, but I am thrilled to embark on this next chapter of my career, returning to home births and reconnecting with families. Jennifer Mozeke, better known as Mozeke, is a native of Dallas but grew up in Louisiana. She is a Licensed Midwife in Texas and has attended more than 300 births. Mozeke is a graduate of Mercy In Action College of Midwifery where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Midwifery degree. She also has a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Masters of Arts in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago. Her journey to midwifery began years ago after the birth of her first child. The experience left her with an intense passion for reproductive justice, birth equity and postpartum wellness. The calling was undeniable and soon after the birth of her second child in 2017, she was able to answer that call. Mozeke believes that midwifery care should be an affordable and easily accessible option for any pregnant person who desires holistic, evidence-based, family centered care where pregnancy is not viewed as an illness but rather a unique and normal process of life. I am Shanna Hinrichs, and my story of community birth began over 20 years ago when I began supporting families as a doula, lactation consultant, and now midwife. I have known I was called to help women bring their babies earthside since I was a young child. I didn't know what that would look like, but I was fortunate to witness the intimate and precious home birth of a dear friend. That experience revealed my path as a birth worker and ignited my desire to serve women and their families in their most powerful and vulnerable moments. I am fulfilled by serving my incredible clients as their families grow. Attending births builds my trust over and over in women's bodies and their ability to transform and heal. I respect the responsibility of being a midwife and recognize the privilege of facilitating an experience that best supports my client's wishes. I believe that educated, informed choice is the best way for families to become empowered and make the best decisions for their pregnancy. That belief has afforded me the privilege to serve on the board of different cesarean awareness groups to help provide evidence-based information so families can make the appropriate choice for themselves and their current pregnancy. I am also a strong advocate for Vaginal Birth after Cesarean (VBAC) when it is the most appropriate choice. I was born and raised in Garland but have had the privilege to live in a few different states. I am married and have given birth to 9 children, each with their own distinct story. Bethany is a Certified Professional Midwife and a licensed midwife in Texas. Her goal is to bring personal, safe, holistic care to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The wellness center was founded by Cheryl Edinbyrd, PhD, LPC, LCDC, CYT, LMT, Health & Fitness Coach and Licensed Midwife. Dr. Edinbyrd has been counseling individuals, couples and families since 2010 and providing midwifery care since 2017. During this time, she has collaborated with other therapists, healthcare providers and treatment facilities to understand the needs within the community. She has also obtained certification as a yoga, massage therapist as well as a health and fitness coach to include more of a holistic approach to working with clients.

Michelle is a Texas Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife. She has been in practice for 10 years, though has only recently returned to her roots to serve her Texas community. She currently practices in Parker, Wise, Palo Pinto, and West Tarrant Counties. Michelle specializes in home birth, HBAC, and believes in natural, physiologic, low-intervention birth.
