Shalom! My name is ChayilYah Segulah and it means capable women of God and His hidden Treasure! My doula journey started 10 years ago when one of my sisters needed support during her birth journey. She didn't have any support and needed someone to advocate her needs, help her express her fears and to walk her through a new birth. I began studying ways that I could help and ways to answer the questions she didn't understand. My Philosophy Sisterhood~ Village~ Shalom (Peace) This is my philosophy! Birth is ordained and designed to be a normal, natural process that your body was perfectly and wonderfully made to experience. My desire as your birth sister is to support you in a way that allows and encourages you to achieve your goals and desires for birth. I would love to become a part of your village.

Hey y’all, I am Tabitha your Louisiana doula. I am a mom of 4 wild, wacky and wonderful kids. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and training to become a placenta encapsulation specialist. Growing up I wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse. When I became an adult I realized the medical field was not for me. I worked at a daycare in the infant room for 2 years. After that I worked as a chiropractic assistant for 2 years. My favorite part of the job was working with pregnant women and infants. It wasn’t until after I was done having babies that I discovered just what a doula does. I was immediately convinced that I found my calling. I have always loved all things birth and motherhood. I knew this was the journey I was finally meant to be on. “What is done in love is well done.” -Vincent Van Gogh

My name is Undria, but all my life I’ve been called Angel, and I truly try to live up to that name. As a doula I have, and will help my parents with any questions they may have before birth, and after. No question is off limits, so I want them to feel comfortable to speak on anything that is causing an issue of doubt for them. I’m a breastfeeding educator, so I can also help parents get a good latch after baby is born, and I’m a true supporter of getting baby to latch within the first hour after they are born. I am also available to help the partner who hasn’t given birth feel comfortable with supporting their partner on this journey so that both can be leaning post for each other.

As a Doula I have the privilege of witnessing the miracle of life unfold before my eyes. I’m constantly awe of the strength and resilience of the women I support, and I feel honored to be part of their journey into motherhood. There is nothing quite like the feeling of helping a woman feel empowered and confident as she brings her baby into the world. Whether it’s providing physical comfort measures, emotional reassurance, or informational support, I love being able to make a positive impact on someone’s birth experience. From the moment I meet a client I am dedicated to helping her achieve the birth she deserves. I love watching the bond between a mother and her partner grow stronger as they prepare to meet their baby, and in the midst of the chaos and beauty of labor, I am constantly inspired by the courage and determination of the women I support. Being a Doula is not just a job it’s a calling it’s a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life and to be a part of a moment that will be etched in their memory forever I feel grateful and I’m humbled every time I get to be a part of this journey, and I can’t Imagine a more rewarding career. I am Alexander Sanders. I believe putting yourself first is the most selfless thing you can do. If you don't take care of yourself first you can't take care of anyone else. Like they say you can't pour from an empty cup. Massage helps with circulation and relaxation which are both very important for new and expecting moms.

I have had a passion for the birth world for nearly a decade. It began in college when I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at a small town hospital. Although it was rare, we would occasionally have moms come in while in labor and I LOVED the excitement and thrill of the possibility of being a helping hand with a birth. This along with having midwifery care during my own pregnancies and births, eventually led me to began studying midwifery in 2018. During midwifery clinicals I was able to assist in many home and birth center births. I had the utter joy of helping mamas feel safe & comfortable, empowered to give birth in the way they desired, overcome obstacles, and see new life come into the world! I am currently taking time off from my midwifery training to focus on caring for and homeschooling my three precious daughters. This time off also allows me to venture into the doula world! As a doula, I will bring my knowledge of evidence-based practice and hands-on experience to educate, encourage, and support families in achieving the birth experience they desire.
