I received my Doula Certification in March of 2022 and became the first Doula in the Southeast OK area. Being your Birth Doula would be my deepest honor to help guide you in your journey to motherhood. My goal is to help you understand your body better and encourage you to have the birth you always dreamed of. I am here to educate, support and maintain a positive space for you. I have been a photographer since 2015 and captured my first birth story in December of 2017. I love capturing the emotions, rawness and powerful moments in birth. I love showing women their strength they might not know is there.
Your birth fee covers on call dates, labor and delivery coverage, editing of your images & an 8X10 custom album. Birth fee is due by 37 weeks with a $150 retainer fee due at booking. Products may be purchased before birth or after when you are able to see your images.
Newborn session - within the first ten days of life - lifestyle in home or outdoors Fresh 48 - within the first 48 hours of life in the hospital (if hospital birth) or in home (if birth center or home birth)
30 minute maternity session - lifestyle in home or outdoors
Need to update your family photos or pictures of your growing babes? This session is for you. You are building a legacy and you need it documented. Your babes will only be this age ONCE. It all fades away faster then you think. I love the photos of you and your family loving on each other and having fun. Not so much the 'posed images'. Everyday life and love. 15 minutes - $150 30 minutes - $250 1 hour - $450
I offer a Birth Doula package, as well as Maternity, Birth, Newborn & Family Photography. If booked more than one you will receive a discount.
I had a set date and time for induction for baby #4. Little miss decided to show 2 weeks early in the middle of the night. She came right away and stayed the whole night and next day with us. My only regret was not hiring her for the previous 3 births. She captured the experience for us and made it so magical.

When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted Candace to be my doula. I also knew I wanted it to be natural and unmedicated. Upon booking Candace as my doula, I made that very clear to her. She respected my space and choices while making me feel empowered. Diving deeply into pregnancy books (Ina May's Guide to Childbirth) I quickly learned I wanted as little interference as possible. It appeared as though a midwife suited me best. Luckily tribal health provides those services. As pregnancy went on, Candace was available to answer any questions I had. She even went to a few of my appointments to get acquainted with my midwife. Candace also served as a counselor helping me see things through a different lens coaching me through foggy personal situations. I could not have done it without her "sistership" because that is what she felt like at the end of it, a sister. You will not regret hiring her as your birth doula for she will far surpass your expectations. You get your moneys worth and beyond that. As she kept telling me throughout labor and delivery, "good job sis."

I LOVE Candace! Seriously the best experience ever with having her as my doula! A million percent bring her on for a second baby down the road! And she managed to capture the cutest newborn pictures ever, even while my little had the hair of a 80 yr old man 👴🏼 🤣 best decision you’ll ever make hunting her as a doula or for pictures! We had such an incredible experience with Candace! This was our last child, third C-section and I had a lot of nerves about the entire delivery process. Candace was wonderful leading up to L&D to help prepare and soothe anxiety. I struggled with the idea of not having any other option for delivery but a cesarean, the spinal not being placed on the first try, or not being able to document the birthing experience, and when she arrived my nerves were at a minimum with her positive affirmations that it would all go smoothly. I honestly don't think I would have been able to stay calm as I was without her support. She stayed with us after the delivery, was able to get our older childrens’ first reactions to meeting their new sibling. Overall, my experience with Candace was truly exceptional - I wish I could give more than 5 stars! If I were to have another child, I will absolutely be hiring Candace again.
