Hello I am Blair. I provide birth, lactation and abortion doula support to the Shasta county area. I believe in supporting the family dynamic where they are. I love this quote from Spinning Babies method of care: "I do not care what kind of birth you have. . . Home birth, scheduled Cesarean, epidural hospital birth or if you birth alone in the woods next to a baby dear. I care that you had options, that you were supported in your choices, and that you were respected." -January Harshe

Hi! I’m Sydney, the founder of The Village Doula Collective, LLC. My journey into birth work began nearly a decade ago while working as a nanny. What started as childcare evolved into something deeper—I found myself supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I realized how much I loved being part of that transformative time. That experience led me to become a doula, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate, informed, and inclusive care. I am a certified full-spectrum doula, trained through the Somatic Arts & Sciences Institute, with additional education from organizations such as Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and Birth Advocacy Doula Training. I also received my Lactation Education Specialist training from Santiago Canyon College. I’ve had the honor of attending births and supporting families through postpartum recovery, and my passion for this work continues to grow. With a bachelor’s degree in sociology, I understand that birth support is not just about physical care—it’s about addressing the systemic disparities that impact birthing people, particularly in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. My mission is to make doula care accessible and equitable, ensuring that every family—regardless of income, background, or identity—has the support they need. At The Village Doula Collective, we believe in the power of community. Whether through direct support, education, or advocacy, we’re here to uplift birthing people and the doulas who serve them.

Hey There, I'm Morgan Dietz. I’ve been a childbirth educator and doula for over 15 years now, and absolutely love what I do. Homebirths. Hospital births. All Births. Initially inspired by being included in the natural, midwife led birth of my youngest sister when I was a child, motivated by witnessing various forms of medicated births in my early 20's, followed by the liberating experiences of my own natural births, I began sharing my passion with all who would listen. With Bradley Method education as well as a background in fitness, nutrition and child development, I have taught, trained, counseled, coached, served and supported countless women, couples and families in the ways of the most rewarding, bonding and empowering adventures of a lifetime: Pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. ❤️ Call or text to schedule a free consultation (530)433-4111. It is my great honor to be considered your helper.

Hello! I'm Andrea. I'm Oregon grown and after 6 years away, my husband and I have moved back to The Rogue Valley and I'm so excited to serve families here! I'm blessed with a large family and have the privilege of loving and doting on close to 30 nieces, nephews and other little ones. I've always been around babies, seen my loved ones go through pregnancies and admired the process, but the doula seed was planted after getting to be more directly involved with one of my goddaughter's entrances into the world in 2020. I fell in love with the strength, the ebb and flow, the literal labor of love. I also saw how scary the unknowns and certain aspects of the journey can be and I knew I wanted to help in some way. After a bit of research, I found what I want to be when I grow up! A doula! I started studying with Birth Arts International and the rest is history. In 2022 I decided to continue my education as a postnatal doula through Women’s Choice Perinatal. Along my doula journey I’ve gotten to build community with so many amazing birth workers and joined The Reno Doula Co-op in 2023. I've worked in caregiving capacities most of my adult life and feel I'm exactly where I need to be. I believe everyone deserves a compassionate and loving birth experience. My goal is to be accessible and reach as many people as possible to help your birth experience be the best it can be through you-centric care and support. Every person embarking on childbirth deserves to have someone in their corner, there for them no matter what, to guide and assist them in making educated choices about their pregnancy, birth experience and parenthood, and to remind them that they can trust the strength of their bodies and minds during this time. As a doula, I aim to bring compassionate, client-centered care and remind every client how empowered they are! Outside of birth work, you can find me spending time with family, playing with the littles, grabbing coffee and walking the river with friends, or traveling whenever and wherever I can. I’m also a huge theater geek (you should see the one-man Hamilton show I put on in my car) and Trekky nerd. I enjoy genuine honest connection and could talk for hours about what makes a person light up.
