Hello! I'm Melissa and I am the Owner, CEO Founder and Doula behind Sister Sister Birth Services, LLC. I am 33 years young, a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children ages 15, 4 and 2. I currently serve the Pensacola, FL area and surrounding towns! I love to camp, travel, bake, sing, practice meditation, gather crystals, and am generally up for anything that has do with spending time with my loved ones and being OUTSIDE, especially at the beach! My mission with Sister Sister Birth Services is to offer now-judgmental support and education to women and families, to discover their voice, and power through the pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. I want to be a part of the all-important “village”; Loving, encouraging and helping my clients and their “village” at every stage! I approach birth work with a “love first”. As a mom of three, I have firsthand experience with the joys and challenges of motherhood. My own journey included struggling with unexplained infertility, and it was through embracing a holistic approach that I found the path to healing and conception. Today, I’m passionate about supporting other families on their unique journeys, providing compassionate and holistic care every step of the way.

I began my doula career in 2013, and have completed trainings through DONA International,ToLabor, ICEA, and Spinning Babies. Ever since I had a traumatic birth & postpartum period with my son, I have become so passionate about mothers & making sure they are able to have the best birthing experience possible. So here we are! I've taken a birth & bereavement doula course, & am DONA and Tricare Certified! I've also documented multiple births & I don't think I've ever been more passionate about something in my life. There's something so incredibly special about watching someone become a mother for the very first time, it's almost like a high I get every single time I witness it! My mission in birth work is to instill something deeper in each and every one of my clients. By the time your babies birthday is here, I want you to feel informed. I want you to feel supported.
