Hello! I'm Melissa and I am the Owner, CEO Founder and Doula behind Sister Sister Birth Services, LLC. I am 33 years young, a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children ages 15, 4 and 2. I currently serve the Pensacola, FL area and surrounding towns! I love to camp, travel, bake, sing, practice meditation, gather crystals, and am generally up for anything that has do with spending time with my loved ones and being OUTSIDE, especially at the beach! My mission with Sister Sister Birth Services is to offer now-judgmental support and education to women and families, to discover their voice, and power through the pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. I want to be a part of the all-important “village”; Loving, encouraging and helping my clients and their “village” at every stage! I approach birth work with a “love first”. Hey mama, I am a Texas native & Alabama transplant. I’ve been attending births for over 10 years. Very passionate about mamas birthing the way they desire. VBAC Advocate, having had one my self. I serve Mobile and Baldwin counties. I have experience in any type of birth you can think of, and I’m always excited to support new mamas!

I am a traditional birth worker, who is passionate about helping women achieve the best possible birth experience, and birth the way you want, in the space you want! I can serve as a doula for hospital births, and birth center births, or as a birth assistant for home births. I support wild pregnancy and unassisted home birth. I believe giving birth is one of the most empowering things a woman can experience! I have a background as an EMT, but gave that up so I could stay home with my baby boy.
