I have lived in Florida all my life. My happy place is by the ocean listening to the waves. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful, wild boys. I became fascinated by the magic and mechanics of birth during my first pregnancy in 2013. I had an emergency c-section followed by medicated and unmedicated vaginal births in 2016 and 2019. Kahla's own experience during the birth of her first child led her to discover her passion for supporting others on their journey through pregnancy, birth and beyond. After a somewhat traumatic first birth experience, Kahla and her husband made the decision to hire a doula for their second child's birth. Hello there! My name is Rachel Sultzer and I am a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Breastfeeding Educator and Certied Postpartum and Infant Care Doula located in Jacksonville, Florida. My passion for child and family care stems from my start as a childcare provider over twenty (20) years ago. Most recently my role as full time nanny quickly reaffirmed my strength in not only caring for infants and small children, but providing comprehensive family support - especially to new and nursing mothers. After serving as a volunteer “Infant Cuddler” for at-risk infants at the UF Shands neonatal intensive care unit, my dedication to helping children was deepened even more. After watching one of my mamas struggle with breastfeeding and experience first hand the the lack of support and education from the community of people surrounding her, I knew I wanted to do more to help; I had to do more. Hello, my name is Macey. I have been married to my husband for 17 years. I have two teenage children that are my pride in joy. I was born in Jacksonville Florida and lived there for 6 years. I then moved to Saint Augustine to help my family take care of my beloved grandfather (Pe-Paw.) I lived in Saint Augustine for 28 years and recently moved to Palm Coast Florida. My journey to becoming a doula started as a child with my obsession with the “A Baby Story” tv show on the TLC channel. Life took a different path when I became a teen mom. Now the path has brought me back and I am overjoyed to be working with pregnant women. A long-term goal for me is to become a Midwife. Some of my hobbies include baking, hiking, gardening, and knitting.

Hello! I am a birth and postpartum doula in Volusia County and servicing within a 50 mile radius. I got started in the birth community after the birth of my daughter. I had a wonderful experience, in part due to the wonderful midwives who attended me throughout my pregnancy and labor, as well as the postpartum doula who came to my home at 2 in the morning to help me with her when I was losing my sanity. These experiences made me want to give to other women, and I found my way into doula work. It has been the most rewarding work I have ever done, and I love doing it. Outside of my work, I spend time with my daughter and my partner, I enjoy reading and playing video games, and I have two cats and a leopard gecko.
