About me
Katharine began serving birth clients in Los Angeles in 2009. She relocated to Jacksonville in 2022 to be close to family. She holds lifetime certification with Carriage House Birth. She offers in-person or virtual doula support, childbirth education classes, placenta encapsulation, and prenatal/postpartum consultations. Katharine is passionate about informed consent, education, and protecting sacred birth space. She supports people of ALL identities and family structures. Katharine encourages her clients to be open, flexible and well-informed, and to trust their instinctual knowledge of their babies and their bodies. She would be honored to support your birth whether in the hospital, at home, birth center or operating room.

Service introduction
I offer both in person and virtual doula services including consultations, childbirth education and labor support, regardless of where you are in the world or what stage you are in your pregnancy. I support ALL birth choices and all family structures. I attend births in hospitals, birth centers and homebirth. I support medicated, unmedicated and surgical birth options. Let me start by saying, I had no idea I even needed a doula until I met Katharine! I truly cannot define her job for you. I just don't have the words. What I do know is, Katharine listened to what I needed, took care of me and saw me through until the very end. Pregnancy and labor are both passage ways to becoming something beyond your current self. For this life transition, you're going to want Katharine! Katharine's overall presence and guidance throughout my entire pregnancy was infinitely the best thing for me, my fiancé and my baby girl! I wish she was still in LA because i’d get pregnant right now to have her with me. We love you, mama. You are everything and more!
