Hello! I am a new doula and childbirth educator. I am a total birth nerd and am so excited to help you on your journey through motherhood. How you birth is YOUR choice. It is my passion to ensure you feel empowered in your choices during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
Port Huron, Michigan
I am a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula, as well as a BSW/MSW level social worker! I believe that it's important to take a holistic approach to birth and parenthood. These experiences are sacred and everyone deserves to have the support they need. The correlation of mental health and birth/postpartum is huge. With my knowledge of community resources, mental health, and trauma, I can provide the care to all who need it.
Nicole is an incredibly kind and compassionate person who brings so much warmth and care to the people she supports. Her deep understanding of emotional needs, combined with her social work background, makes her an exceptional doula. She listens without judgment, offers thoughtful guidance, and truly prioritizes the well-being of those she works with. Anyone would be lucky to have her by their side during such an important time in their life. She is an exceptional human being and friend.

I'm Stephanie with Gentle Birthing, and my interest in birth work was awakened the day my first child was born in 2010 at home, surrounded by our midwife and birthing team. It was at that point I realized that more women need to know their birthing options. We had 4 more home water births in South Carolina before returning to Southeast Michigan where we welcomed our 6th child at home in 2020. I enjoy learning about the physiology of pregnancy and the process of giving birth and am fascinated with all the different natural coping techniques for pain management. With each of my own births, I implemented something new I had learned along the way. I hope to support expecting mothers in the ways I have received encouragement and support from the birth workers in my life. Their support changed the way I thought about birth and what I was capable of doing.
Stephanie was a great help to us as we prepared for the arrival of our fourth baby and during delivery as well.

Hey hey! It's Jerusha here:) I am a birth and postpartum doula located in Tillsonburg, Ontario. I'm so passionate in playing a role in restoring pregnancy + birth to be a sovereign and peaceful journey. There is so much fear in society surrounding birth and I believe that through thorough education and lots of support, that can change! Mother lead, honourable, and sacred is how I dream of all births to be. I love to serve and create safe and meaningful relationships with my clients. Can't wait to connect with you!
Jerusha was an incredible support to me and my husband during a long and arduous 30+ hour labour. She supported me physically, mentally and emotionally. She was a calm and steady presence who ensured my nervous system was regulated and that I was advocated for as labour progressed (hospital setting). Her support was invaluable to my husband and I and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is very committed to your safety, comfort and well being and I would hire Jerusha without hesitation on any future pregnancies. She has a gift.

I’m Anne Fleming, a doula serving women across Metro Detroit with dedicated support during both labor and the postpartum period. I’m passionate about walking alongside women and their families during this important season, offering physical and emotional care that helps them feel confident and supported. Whether I’m providing comfort measures during labor or nurturing mothers in the early weeks after birth, my goal is to create a calm, reassuring presence and offer encouragement every step of the way. It’s my joy to help women feel empowered and cared for as they welcome new life into their families.
I didn’t meet Annie until I was about 35 weeks pregnant, but from the very beginning, she made me feel completely supported and at ease. Even though we connected late in my pregnancy, she jumped right in with warmth, knowledge, and encouragement that made it feel like she'd been part of my journey all along. When I went into labor, Annie came exactly when I needed her. She met us at the hospital and was an absolute rock throughout the entire process. Her presence was calming, grounding, and so reassuring. She knew just what to say and do to help me stay focused and confident, and she worked beautifully alongside the hospital staff while always prioritizing my comfort and wishes. Having Annie by my side made such a difference. She helped create a birth experience that felt empowering and supported — I truly can’t imagine going through it without her. Thank you, Annie, for being there when I needed you most and for bringing so much care and strength into such an important moment in my life.

Hi! My name is Brennan. I am currently enrolled in the Doula Training Program through The Autonomy Mommy. I absolutely love all things undisturbed, physiological birth. I absolutely love when women make their pregnancy and birth their responsibility and they take back that power. Pregnancy and birth outside of the medical system is where my heart lies, and so I would be beyond happy to support you in your free birth/unassisted birth. I am also a large advocate on trauma-informed care, fat inclusivity and positivity. I am also Health at Every Size Informed. I believe there is so much non-evidence based information surrounding being pregnant and giving birth in a bigger body. Please feel free to reach out to me! I would love to chat.

My name is Katie Crow and I have been supporting pregnant women in our community for the past five years. I started out as an advocate helping pregnant women in crisis get the resources they need, and then moved into birthwork. My passion for women drives me forward everyday Having six births with varying stories myself, I meet families where they are at and help their vision come to pass. I support birth at home, in the hospital both natural and medicated believing that only mom knows which choices are right for her body and baby.

My name is Aly, and I’m the proud owner of Nurturing and Nesting, a birth and postpartum doula practice dedicated to supporting and empowering mothers through every stage of their journey. I created Nurturing and Nesting to provide thorough, personalized care that helps families thrive before, during, and after birth. My mission is to educate and empower parents with the knowledge and tools they need to care for themselves and their newborns, all while honouring the sacred experience of birth. I’ve always had a deep love for nurturing, whether it’s caring for babies, toddlers, or children, or fostering meaningful relationships with friends, family, and even pets. I truly believe that with the right mindset, atmosphere, and support, birth can be a transcendent experience, one that leaves a lasting, positive impact on both parents and their little one. It’s about creating a space where love, confidence, and calm can grow.
Alycia came into my home postpartum to help me both with childcare and some small housekeeping. Her experience with children speaks for itself. She’s not only kind, patient, and compassionate, she’s also naturally comfortable caring for children. Having a support in your home postpartum that is strictly there to support you is an invaluable experience. Having not only help with my baby and some help cleaning up, but also just a nonjudgmental, knowledgeable source to speak all things postpartum to, really lightened the postpartum mental load. I would welcome Alycia into my home to help with my baby and I anytime.

I’m Mikah! I’m a full-spectrum doula and I have been a doula for about 2 years. I just started school to be a home-birth midwife. I love serving others especially women and babies. I am big on naturalistic and holistic care. I am a believer and I love to pray with my clients if that’s something they would desire.
My children love Mikah ! She’s absolutely great and we were so grateful /excited to have her apart of our support system . We did find her a little late in our pregnancy going into my 3rd trimester but she responded immediately and we didn’t waste time after that . She’s quite the help (: , she provided us with one of her lactation consultant friend Sandra , who gave us tips on how to breastfeed more effectively and they were both very knowledgeable about the proper nutrition needed to keep up my milk supply. Her gentle and calming nature helped ease our anxieties and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our son Joshua in her care while we were able to get a few hours rest. Mikah is just overall amazing and a great person to open up to as well and I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs/wants a doula . She also meal prepared for us - which btw was DELICIOUS!!! And provided the best freshly pressed juice I’ve ever had which also helped me shed some postpartum weight off .
