Labor and Birth ONLY

Presence throughout labor and delivery, from early labor to postpartum recovery. Providing reassurance, encouragement, and calming techniques. Comfort techniques such as massage, counter-pressure, heat/cold application, and positioning. Guidance on breathing techniques, visualization, and relaxation methods. Help facilitate communication between you, your partner, and medical staff regarding your birth plan and preferences. Support your choices and preferences, ensuring they are respected during the birth process. Suggestions for optimal positioning during labor to encourage progress and comfort. Remind and encourage fluid intake and light snacks as appropriate. Assist in setting up a soothing atmosphere, including lighting, music, and any personal items.

Full Service Package (Prenatal, Birth, Postpartum)

Discuss your birth preferences and concerns. Information on labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Help in creating and refining your birth plan. Support throughout labor and delivery. Techniques such as massage, counter-pressure, and positioning. Guidance on breathing techniques, relaxation methods, and visualization. Facilitating Dialogue, help communicate preferences and concerns to medical staff. Immediate Postpartum Support Support with skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding initiation. Guidance on newborn care in the first hours after birth. 2-3 Postpartum home visits

Postpartum Care

Regular visits to assist with the transition to parenthood. Providing a safe space to discuss feelings and concerns. Guidance on breastfeeding or bottle-feeding techniques. Tips on diapering, bathing, and calming the baby. Help with chores like laundry, dishes, and tidying up. Preparing nutritious meals to support recovery and nourishment. Information on infant development and care practices. Connecting families to local resources such as lactation consultants and parenting groups. Strategies for promoting healthy sleep habits for both baby and parents. Encouraging partner participation and ways to support each other. Guidance on helping older siblings adjust to a new baby. Postpartum Recovery Guidance Encouraging self-care practices for physical and emotional well-being.

Nakayla is just what her name is DARLING! She was recommended to me by a friend & i met with her immediately once I decided to get a doula. She was supportive and understanding because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do in the beginning and also informed she provided abortion dollar services which I think is amazing! Further support and conversations with Nakayla guided me to make the best decision for myself and baby and I ended up getting the prenatal, birth, & postpartum doula services ! She stuck by my side through every drs appointment, morning sickness and uncomfortable sleeping complaints! She's a wonderful, gentle young woman that actually LISTENS and SYMPATHIZES with what a pregnant woman is going through and doesn't just brush you off like some medical professionals do! I absolutely loved the way she cared for not only my baby but myself as well during my labor, birth, & postpartum! I highly recommend hiring her for your pregnancy journey or any other services you may need! Your best bet going forward!
