Welcome! I’m Sabrina de la Rosa, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), dedicated to supporting mothers and babies on their breastfeeding journey. As a mother of four, all of whom I breastfed, I understand the challenges and joys that come with breastfeeding. My passion for lactation began in 2016, inspired by my own experience as a new mother. This led me to become a breastfeeding support volunteer, and ultimately to pursue certification as an IBCLC. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Maternal Child Health from UI&U, which deepened my understanding of the unique needs of mothers and infants. For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching pilates and wellness practices to women in my community, blending my love for fitness with my commitment to health. This holistic approach to well-being is the foundation of my lactation practice. Through my private practice, Nature’s Nectar Lactation Support, I offer personalized, compassionate lactation care to mothers and babies in the Rio Grande Valley. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to achieve your breastfeeding goals. Whether you are struggling with latch issues, low milk supply, or just need guidance along the way, I am here to help. I also work with the State of Texas through the Department of Public Health, advocating for maternal and infant health and supporting families in achieving optimal health outcomes. Living in Texas with my husband and four children, I am deeply honored to serve my community and help mothers achieve success with breastfeeding. I found my calling in birth work at the young age of 16, where I was present at at a family members birth, and never looked back! After studying Biology at Temple University and devoting a portion of my life to modern medicine, I found a passion in Ethnobotany, which led to applying a more holistic approach to women’s health- -hyper focused on women’s reproductive health. I aid women in womb wellness through overall health and herbal healing by way of yoni steaming, abdominal chirapsia, and nutrition counseling. My doula duties are universally geared toward family-directed, physiologic childbirth, antenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, herbal remedies, reproductive care(pre-conception to postpartum) and placenta medicine.

My name is Sophie Perkins and I grew up in Kerrville, TX. I have been practicing as a doula since 2020, and I have fallen in love with this work. I have no children of my own, but my wonderful girlfriend and I have plans to expand our family. While I hope to be able to carry a child, we are very excited about the prospect of adopting or fostering children! My hobbies include spending time with my partner and pets, renovating our home, and reading. In 2016, a friend of mine got pregnant and hired a doula. Hearing her birth story was such a privilege and an eye opening experience! As the months passed, she shared with me honestly what it was like being a new mom–the sleep deprivation, confusion, visceral joy and love of having a child. I felt so honored that she would trust me, and I was inspired to find my place beside families as they welcome new children. I looked into doula work and was hooked immediately. After I was trained, I knew with certainty that I had found my passion.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth Greer, but my friends call me Liz. When I introduce myself I share that I’m ’Light, Love, and a Bringer of Peace!’ I am the mom to three of the most creative, charismatic, intelligent, joyful and loving children: Victoria, Vivienne, and Arjun… As LEGO-enthusiast, we often spend a lot of time working on sets! My youngest two children, are almost 24-months apart but are often mistaken as twins due to my middle child’s short stature and complex medical needs. As an educator, medical momma, and life-long learner I have made it my mission to be a resource in the community for those who need love and support. Hiking, Cooking/Baking and Creating art in various forms and helping others are my love languages! My greatest glimmer (sparkles for joy) are Plants! I am a Plant Momma to Many, and a Dog momma to one Puppy named Bluu!

I'm a mom of 4 & Nana of 1, married to my soulmate for almost 24 years. Proud to be an Air Force veteran, I was Active duty when my first was born. Her birth was eye opening... and the reason I sought out different options for my second birth. My second was the first of 3 redeeming and beautiful home births, and that experience is what ignited my passion for birth. I wanted to be a midwife for several years but that wasn't in the cards. It was years later, shortly after making the move to pursue photography, that I found my passion in birth photography. From there, my desire to support and encourage birthing families only grew, and I sought out certification as a doula. Obviously I love being there when a sweet little soul makes its debut. It's more than that though! As a birth worker, I have the honor and privilege of witnessing transformations. That realization that they are able, that they are doing it, that they are about to meet their long awaited babies... that they CAN do hard things. That moment is worth the sleepless nights, sore muscles, and changed plans. That moment of empowerment and transformation brings a tear to my eyes. It never gets old. I specialize in documenting birth in photos and films as well as supporting through labor and birth. My passion is seeing each birthing family know their options, understand the pros & cons of each, and making informed choices that support the birth they want. I strive to document those stories (for those clients that desire documentation) to provide a record of that love story as it unfolds. Having had 3 home births personally, I have a deep love of midwifery and out-of-hospital births. I have experience with home and birth center births, hospital births (natural, inductions, epidurals, & cesareans), stillbirths & miscarriage, twins, VBAC, and breech birth.

Hello! I’m Taryn, a birth and postpartum doula born and raised great city of San Antonio! I have been a certified doula since 2022! I have a passion for helping women during the most intimate and vulnerable moments of their lives. By being a doula, I strive to help women find their voice to have a birth experience they can look back on with joy and confidence. I am married to the most wonderful man ever created (yes, I am bias), and together we have been blessed to raise two wonderful children: Ezra and Winnifred. We also have a gigantic white fluffball cat named Bento who loves to eat any type of food (even salads…). Outside of doula work, you will find me gardening, crafting, and playing board and video games! Additionally, I am obsessed with bread baking, and have a sourdough starter that has been alive longer than my kids! In February 2020, my husband and I were blessed to learn we were pregnant. One month later, the world completely shut down. With the unknowns of COVID, hospitals were continually changing policies on who would be allowed to support a mother during birth. With the fear of not having my husband with me, my research on alternatives began. Through my research, I learned about doulas, birth centers, home births, and unmedicated births. I learned that childbirth can be beautiful and joyful with the right support, and I wanted to become that support for other mothers and empower them to be their own voice! Both of my births were very different; one ending in a c-section the other a VBAC. Both have helped me secure my passion for this line of work. After working as a Financial Analyst Manger for a major company, my husband and I decided to take a step of faith and go down a new path. A more rewarding path. A path I know provides true value to our community.
