Certified Holistic Health and Womb Wellness Practitioner, Herbalist, Doula, and Nutritionist. I found my calling in birth work at the young age of 16, where I was present at at a family members birth, and never looked back! After studying Biology at Temple University and devoting a portion of my life to modern medicine, I found a passion in Ethnobotany, which led to applying a more holistic approach to women’s health- -hyper focused on women’s reproductive health. I aid women in womb wellness through overall health and herbal healing by way of yoni steaming, abdominal chirapsia, and nutrition counseling. My doula duties are universally geared toward family-directed, physiologic childbirth, antenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, herbal remedies, reproductive care(pre-conception to postpartum) and placenta medicine. 

I am a full spectrum doula with certifications from DONA, Hypnobabies, and Stillbirthday. I am also certified in TENS usage and have my own units to use with my clients. I strive to educate, empower and support with a calm, quiet atmosphere, upholding the desires of the birthing person. I am also a certified Spinning Babies Parent Educator and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (this means a carseat expert!) As a retired teacher and Air Force spouse, with seven children and two grandchildren, I have experienced a wide variety of personal birth scenarios and am particularly drawn to help military wives and those without family nearby. My name is Sophie Perkins and I grew up in Kerrville, TX. I have been practicing as a doula since 2020, and I have fallen in love with this work. I have no children of my own, but my wonderful girlfriend and I have plans to expand our family. While I hope to be able to carry a child, we are very excited about the prospect of adopting or fostering children! My hobbies include spending time with my partner and pets, renovating our home, and reading. In 2016, a friend of mine got pregnant and hired a doula. Hearing her birth story was such a privilege and an eye opening experience! As the months passed, she shared with me honestly what it was like being a new mom–the sleep deprivation, confusion, visceral joy and love of having a child. I felt so honored that she would trust me, and I was inspired to find my place beside families as they welcome new children. I looked into doula work and was hooked immediately. After I was trained, I knew with certainty that I had found my passion.

Hi there! My name is Ashleigh Berry and I was born and raised in San Antonio! I am a mother, doula, wife, Jesus lover, gym shark and pastry connoisseur. I love all things nature and outdoors - minus the heat and mosquitos. My family and my faith are a huge part of my life. When I’m not at a birth, at church or in the gym, you can find me dancing in the kitchen with my hubby and toddler. We’re a spontaneous and adventurous family, always trying new things and constantly making s’mores in the backyard. Life is a precious gift and I’m always finding ways to soak it all in. The deep desire to serve and love on mamas during a crucial time in their lives. That’s what brought me to doula work. The longing to help make every birth beautiful - to help every birthing person be heard and cared for. Before I was a doula, I worked briefly at the Freeman Coliseum and a bridal expo! But the Lord called me elsewhere. I love what I do - it would be a dream come true to be able to do this forever.

Hello! I’m Gabrielle and I am a birth and postpartum doula. I was born and raised in a small town near Los Angeles, California and moved to Texas to open the first few In N Out Burgers in San Antonio. I met my husband and moved back to California to be more close to my family, but missed Texas- so we are back again! I have a husband, 2 kids, dogs, cats, and chickens. We are very active with our local shelter and almost always have a foster animal, or 3. For 2 years we lived in an RV traveling to 12 states, and we would love to see more. I homeschool my children, and in my free time I love to travel, explore nature, listen to music, and catch up on TV. I have a bachelor’s degree and I am currently going to school to become a Registered Nurse. After my second child, I realized how important it is to have a village. I believe if I had a postpartum doula, my fourth trimester would have been completely different. There are so many women that don’t have a good support system, even though everyone deserves one. Being able to help my family members and friends who were postpartum has been such a rewarding experience; it led me to seek out formal training in doula work so I could make a career out of helping people.

Hello. My name is Yolyvette Boston, or Yoly for short. I am a Labor Doula, Birth Photographer and Student Midwife. I have been a doula for 3 years and prioritize the knowledge needed to enhance the support received during your birth. I was born in Puerto Rico, but San Antonio has been home for over a decade. I married my best friend Aaron, and we have a beautiful son named Noah. Being the last of six, I have been exposed to multiple pregnancies from a young age. Being present for my sisters ignited a fire and motivated me to continue to empower and support every pregnant person. I witnessed my first cesarean at 16 years of age, and it was an instant confirmation from the universe that I am meant to assist expecting families. Every pregnancy and labor experience is unique, and that is the beauty of it. No matter how many births or families you assist, they are all special in different ways. At times, the birthing person may want to give up, but all they need is a little motivation and support to flourish. Seeing mothers surrender to their bodies and finding the strength and power within when they want to quit has to be what I love witnessing the most. There is nothing like seeing how proud the birthing person gets afterward- as they should because they are amazing! Birth Photography allows me to freeze those beautiful emotions while you are meeting your little one. Those tiny toes quickly turn into smelly feet, but the pictures last a lifetime. After my own pregnancy during covid in 2021, I quickly realized knowledge is fundamental. When hospital policies are activated many of those on your birth team are replaceable. Now I strive to help your partner be the doula you need and prepare them as much I prepare the birthing person. I strive to be all-inclusive and helping all people. I am especially passionate about helping people of color, all genders, and military families. I was born into a military family, and I know family is not always around to help. Whether you are one hour away from the place you call “home” or a thousand miles, you do not have to do it alone. It does not matter what your birth plans are; you deserve to be respected, heard, encouraged, and supported during and after your pregnancy. I am also fluently bilingual in Spanish and English.
