Working with Jade and her team was amazing. I felt so preloaded for my birth and they catered to every single nerve I had as a first time mom. Jade stayed with me through a 12-hour natural labor and advocated for me when I couldn’t for myself during the last hours of it all. She was available for me at every step, checked in often, and provided me the kind of support that many women of color should be getting during this time. I've used Jade for both my pregnancies+births. I was medically induced for being postdates with my first, and I can confidently say that I was able to endure that experience drug-free because Jade was my doula. My second pregnancy also resulted in an induction, this time just castrol oil, due to an unfortunate diagnosis of stage 2 triple negative breast cancer at 37 weeks. The emotional weight of my second labor alone required a doula, and Jade was the perfect person for me. In both my labors, she was so hands-on and addressed every area of my body and mind that could be holding labor up. She's so light, friendly, funny, and warm. But when things need done, she's right there ready to help the birth team. Jade's skills have been priceless in my birth experiences. She's become a lifelong friend, and I'm grateful my children will know her from the beginning of being in the womb to when they're having their own babies!
