Hello! My name is Samantha Libler. I am a birth doula serving Delaware County and the surrounding areas. I received training through Dona International and am so looking forward to supporting moms and families! If you choose to work with me, we will have 1-4 prenatal visits where we talk all things birth, create a birth plan, discuss how to talk with your care provider, and so much more. When the time comes to welcome your little one, I am there to provide emotional and physical support and help with provider communication. My philosophy surrounding my practice as a doula is this - I am here to inform you, support you, advocate for you, and help you have the birth of your dreams. I will be realistic and honest, give you all the information I can, and help you prepare for whatever is to come. The support I provide is not just for the birthing person - it extends to the whole family. I am here for your spouse, your children, and anyone else that is on your birthing team. A little about me - I currently live in Anderson, Indiana with my significant other and two fur babies. I have a Masters in Student Affairs Administration that I earned through Ball State. I have had a passion for children and birth for a very long time and becoming a Doula is a dream come true. I can't wait to meet you!

I am Mariah Prodan. I am a mother to a beautiful and brave 3-year-old daughter, who I breast fed for 11 months. I am a DONA trained who is working towards certification. I am also VBAC certified by theVBACline. I decided to become a doula when my baby sister expressed the desire for a natural birth with her first baby in April. I volunteered to be her doula and signed up for classes the next day. I now know from my own birth experience how important doula support is, I did not have the support of a doula during my covid delivery. A doula would have made all the difference and prevented my epidural. I have been a fulltime Registered Nurse since 2017 with the majority of my background in Critical Care. My career has left me with. I currently work in surgical recovery where most of my focus is on preventing and treating post operative pain through various comfort measures. As a doula my goal is to provide education to alleviate anxiety and stress during delivery. Labor is unpredictable but there is power in understanding and knowing what is normal. I provide my knowledge and expertise to assist and empower during labor. I also work to sooth the pains of labor through various comfort measures while providing emotional support.

As a military spouse, Aubrey has attended births all over the country and has supported a wide variety of birthing situations and locations. Her 13 years of invaluable experience includes supporting active duty Military families in Missouri, North Carolina, Texas & Indiana and serving low/no income families through nonprofit Doula organizations in Missouri (The Doula Foundation) and Texas (San Antonio Birth Doulas). Aubrey’s journey to become a doula began when she was pregnant in 2010. She began to really educate herself on all things relating to birth in order to prepare for the water-birth of her now 14 year old daughter. In doing so, a spark was ignited within her and she knew she had found her passion as a doula. In 2011, she suffered a pulmonary embolism caused by the use of hormonal birth control. While recovering, she kick started her doula career to help women become well informed of their decisions before, during, and after pregnancy. As a doula, her main goal is to help empower families to make informed decisions. No matter what a family envisions for the birth of their baby, Aubrey wants them to enter into parenthood feeling knowledgeable, supported, and at peace with how the birth unfolded.

Master of Science, Nutrition Specialist, Herbalist, Chef, Teacher, and Mother, are all callings that I may answer to, yet I am far more than just a list of titles. I live as a ball of energy aligned in harmony. Within and without I have grown to sea Whealth--- that is wholistic nourishment of my mind, body, soul and most importantly the womb. What we feed on (mentally, physically, and spiritually) is what we teach the generations that we create. From my experience within this journey of life, living, and healing, I now know that the secrets to Whealth all lie in the mindset. Just as our temples eat for its energy needs, our minds eat in a system of energy exchange. Thus, the things that we choose to feed on very much determines the quality of life that we see on this Earth. I am here as a resource for all who may follow. Let us mindfully feed and heal wholistically. Your abundance awaits.

I became a Mother in the Summer of 2014. If I'm being honest, I didn't put much thought into my first birth. I thought I'd just go into the hospital pregnant and come out with a baby. It wasn't until I was in labor and facing an emergency cesarean that I realized that my partner and I were unprepared and unsupported. It was after that first birth that I learned what a Doula was and the trajectory of my entire life shifted. I trained as a Birth Doula in 2016 and since that time I have attended over 160 births in hospitals, birth centers and in homes. In 2021 I have also been a local homebirth assistant since 2021 with my Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification. Over the years my views and beliefs surrounding birth have grown and evolved. I have studied not only the mechanics of the birth process, but the physiological, emotional and spiritual rite of passage that birth truly is. I believe that a beautiful birth experience can happen in any setting, but that it takes a combination of preparation, advocacy and a setting that supports your vision.
