Birth and babies are my passions. I started the journey to becoming a birth doula shortly after having my second baby, Colton. My first and second births were completely night and day. My first baby, Caleb, was an incredibly long and strenuous labor; a total of 72 hours. With my second, however, I was only in labor for a total of 25 hours, which still is very long, but not by comparison. I owe a lot of that to my amazing birth team I had for my second birth, which included a midwife and doula support, and the education I gained throughout my pregnancy on how to prepare my body for birth. I believe in a holistic approach to birth. I don't think birth should be treated as a medical emergency until proven that it needs to be. Birth is a natural, beautiful thing, and while modern medicine absolutely has its place, I don't think it automatically belongs in every birth space. That said, I support every way to give birth, because in the end you're the only one in control. If you want an epidural, membrane sweep, Pitocin, all the drugs, I will absolutely support your decision. Or if you want to deny all cervical checks, do intermittent monitoring, and have your baby in the tub, that's great by me too! My priority as your doula would be to give you access to all the information you need to make well informed choices and give you the support you need to make your birth experience exactly what you want

My journey began with a simple desire — to support women as they step into the transformative journey that is motherhood. I recognize that every mother's path is unique, with its own challenges and triumphs. I'm here to ensure that every step you take is met with understanding, knowledge, and unwavering support. Every mother's voice deserves to be heard, her choices respected, and her experiences validated. As an experienced birth and postpartum doula, I have seen the profound difference personalized care can make, and I strive to create an environment where you feel seen, understood, and empowered. You are the heart of this journey. They say it takes a village to raise a child. I would be honored to be part of yours!

Hello! I’m Lindsay, a birth and postpartum doula and mom of 2. I became passionate about maternal wellness when I was expecting my first child in Norway. I received such quality care — midwives, visiting baby nurses, cushy parental leave! — but I was still missing the emotional support and expertise I needed to help me navigate a foreign medical system and the many anxieties I held as a first time parent. Since then, I’ve learned from hundreds of parents that they, too, needed more support than was available to them. Often times, they felt others were pushing an agenda that was not in their best interest. I became a doula to help change that, one family at a time. I’m here to hold space for you, learn with you, ease your fears, and empower you to feel confident through this important time in your life. If you are looking for a doula to help you birth and nurture your child on your own terms, please consider booking a free consultation with me. I’d love to learn more about you and see if we are a good fit.

Hello, I’m Laurie. Natural Childbirth is my Passion!!! Women are far more powerful then they know!!! I am a mom of 4. After having one natural but unpleasant birth. And one Pitocin assisted birth, (which I don't recommend), I decided to try the Bradley method. I now have two Bradley babies. Both were born without any medical interventions or drugs, thanks to the Bradley method. I loved being in control of my labor and having my husband there, supporting me. Check out my Website: RiversideNaturalChildbirth.com My classes teach you How to work with your body, not against it. And help your partner to know how to support your laboring needs. So you can work together to get that precious bundle of joy out quicker and with less pain!!!👉YES, it’s possible! 😊 I became a Bradley instructor because I truly believe it works, I know first hand. I truly wouldn't birth any other way. I also love being able to meet all those cute babies. It's such an honor to make an impact in people's lives. By the end of class my students have become my friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. The Bradley method emphasizes that birth is a natural process: mothers are encouraged to trust their body and focus on diet and exercise throughout pregnancy to keep them low risk. It teaches couples to manage labor through relaxation, deep breathing and the support of a partner or labor coach. Bradley Method® classes teach families how to have natural births, by being their our doulas. The techniques are simple, effective, and based on information about how the human body works during labor.

After a successful 15 year career in nonprofit fundraising and international higher education, I found my life’s purpose in supporting growing families during one of the most life changing event, childbirth. My doula journey started in 2017 and I quickly integrated my years of yoga practice into my doula services by completing my 200-hour and prenatal yoga teacher training in 2018 and my traditional Thai massage training in 2019. My services are rooted in my Buddhist upbringing and the belief in using our innate abilities and the abundant resources we have to face life's challenges with full consent, faith and fortitude.
