About the class
Learn the tips and tricks from two experienced doulas! As of January 2025, Lily, a postpartum doula has taken care of 25 babies under 6 months old! Becca, an experienced birth doula will be sharing her experiences, and knowledge from the births she has attended! Everyone attending will be entered in a raffle to win a 4Moms Mama-Roo Swing ($269 value!) We will be hands-on practicing and learning birth and postpartum techniques! Our goal is that you leave our class feeling prepared for your perinatal journey! Becca will discuss birth advocacy, informed decision making, stages of labor, moms nerves system and more! Lily is sharing information on formula/breastmilk, baby cues, wake windows, ways to play and bond, postpartum mood disorder, postpartum nutrition, and much more!! This is a great opportunity to get to know us, learn about the RI doula resources, and have a space to ask us questions! Hi! My name is Becca. I am here for you to help you have an empowering birth and early parenthood experience! I love supporting people, and have a deep passion for birth work! In my work as a doula, I love incorporating mindfulness and confidence building to help my clients thrive. I find that these practices help clients build trust in their bodies and in themselves, as individuals and as parents, and connects them to their inner strength. Some fun facts about me: I love dancing, watching movies, and I am an animal lover! As a child, I grew up on a small farm. My cat Boo is my child. And I even walk dogs and pet sit on the side of my doula business!
