About the class

Exciting news for expecting mamas! 🤰 Pregnancy circles are coming to Lake County! May 3 at 10am Sing up here: https://forms.gle/gEyVa92Fok7nbGE4A ____________________________________________________ One of the reasons that I am so passionate about the work that I do is that I am a true believer in the blessing of community. Moms and moms-to-be should not have to feel alone. Too many of us isolate ourselves and miss out on all the social and emotional support that a community of women can provide. My goal is to fight against our tendency to walk this journey alone. I want women to come together and find strength in one another. Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful parts of motherhood, but it can also be a source of significant stress and challenge. I want to provide opportunities to ask questions, to learn from one another, and to lean on each other as women have always done in the past. I also recognize that I only have so much knowledge and experience. Collectively, we hold a lot more. This is why I’ve decided to incorporate Pregnancy Circles as part of my mission. The circles will be an informal (and free) way for you to: - connect with other moms and moms-to-be -Learn evidence-based insights about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum -share your fears, hopes, and questions in a safe space with others who understand - slow down, nurture yourself, and cultivate a deeper connection with your body and future baby I would love for you to be a part of this community no matter where you find yourself in motherhood. Our very first circle will be in May, and I am super excited to get this started! Saturday, May 3 . 10am-11:30am RSVP here: https://forms.gle/SFcLctwyid1ayGfR8 If you have a friend who would love this, tag them here! I can’t wait to meet some new mamas! #PregnancyCircle #MamaSupport #FindYourVillage www.lavidbirthing.com

About the provider

Evelyn Bello-schrag

Hi, I'm Evelyn – a mama to two beautiful kids, a nature lover, and an advocate for women. While I didn’t plan to become a doula or childbirth educator, I now know that it’s my true calling. Growing up in a close-knit Mexican household, I was always drawn to community and mentorship, especially for girls. After earning my degrees in psychology and Spanish, I worked with survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. Becoming a mom ignited my deep curiosity about pregnancy and birth. I became fascinated by the process, eager to learn everything about labor and advocate for my own birth experience. After having profoundly empowering births, I realized that every woman deserves a birth that is powerful and free from trauma. This curiosity soon grew into a passion for supporting other women in my community. In my journey as a home visitor, working with Spanish-speaking moms, I saw firsthand the lack of resources and perinatal education available to them. It fueled my desire to help these women advocate for themselves, find their voice, and feel empowered in their birth experiences. After the birth of my daughter, I took a step back to reflect on my passions, and that’s when I discovered the amazing combination of doula and childbirth educator. And so, La Vid was born – a community for mothers to feel rooted and empowered, from pregnancy through motherhood. I believe in the strength and connection of women, and my mission is to empower you through your entire journey, so you never have to walk alone.
