I found Dionne later down the line in my pregnancy. I had known from my first pregnancy that if I gave birth again, I wanted a doula on my care team. Dionne is well versed in the medical field and truly an asset of you’re seeking doula services. I’m glad she decided to support me through the end of my pregnancy and during birth, along with her assistant. Thank you both!

Dionne is an incredibly valuable asset during childbirth. She provides a unique combination of emotional, physical, and informational support that can greatly enhance the birth experience. Here are a few reasons why I hold this view: 1. Continuous Support: Unlike medical staff who may have multiple patients to attend to, Dionne is dedicated to one person, offering continuous support throughout labor. This constant presence can be very reassuring for the mother. 2. Holistic Care: Dionne focus on the overall well-being of the mother, addressing emotional and psychological needs alongside physical care. 3. Advocacy: Dionne can help ensure that the mother’s wishes are respected and communicated effectively to the medical team. This advocacy can be crucial in a high-stress environment where the mother might find it challenging to express her preferences. 4. Evidence-Based Practices: Dionne is trained in evidence-based practices and can provide valuable information and resources to help parents make informed decisions. 5. Postpartum Support: The support doesn’t end with the birth. Dionne provides postpartum care, helping with breastfeeding, recovery, and adjustment to life with a newborn.
