Hello, I have been a Birth and Postpartum Doula for a little over a year! I have had the pleasure to be present for 20 beautiful births! Before I became a doula I was a nanny for special needs children and I also had a child development associates degree and I was a preschool teacher. I love children and have been around children from birth to 18 years old. I also ran my own in home daycare. I am a loving mother to 5 beautiful children aged 17 years old to 2 years old!! I chose to become a doula because I know women need extra support during the most vulnerable time in there life so they can have the best birth/labor experience that they wish! I support all labors!

I strive to educate, empower and support with a calm, quiet atmosphere, upholding the desires of the birthing person. I am also a certified Spinning Babies Parent Educator and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (this means a carseat expert!) As a retired teacher and Air Force spouse, with seven children and two grandchildren, I have experienced a wide variety of personal birth scenarios and am particularly drawn to help military wives and those without family nearby. Certified Holistic Health and Womb Wellness Practitioner, Herbalist, Doula, and Nutritionist. I found my calling in birth work at the young age of 16, where I was present at at a family members birth, and never looked back! After studying Biology at Temple University and devoting a portion of my life to modern medicine, I found a passion in Ethnobotany, which led to applying a more holistic approach to women’s health- -hyper focused on women’s reproductive health. I aid women in womb wellness through overall health and herbal healing by way of yoni steaming, abdominal chirapsia, and nutrition counseling. My doula duties are universally geared toward family-directed, physiologic childbirth, antenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, herbal remedies, reproductive care(pre-conception to postpartum) and placenta medicine. 

Saron is a mom of 3 who has experience with birth in and out of the hospital. A birth and postpartum doula who also teaches childbirth ed, and babywearing classes. In her free time she loves cooking and playing games with her children and she’s a fan of tattoos and Harry Potter 😊

I received a BA in International Studies and a Masters in Education, which I used to become a middle school World Cultures teacher. Throughout my journey to motherhood, I’ve developed a passion for empowering others on their parenthood journey to make informed decisions and never settle for care that is anything less than exceptional. As a lover of world cultures, I have found an interest in learning how birth is viewed around the world and how parents are cared for postpartum - and then applying the best of those practices to the birth and postpartum care I provide here in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. I am located in San Antonio and serve all of San Antonio and the surrounding communities.
