My goal is to return to the feeling of empowerment and mental wellness to the journey to expanding a family with mental health at the forefront of my work. I am a clinically trained counsellor by trade with several years working with mental health, addiction and trauma; I aim to bring this training and knowledge to support my clients in understanding their mental health and processing any birth trauma they may have endured.

Hi, I’m Nicole! (she/her) I live in New Westminster with my rambunctious toddler, and my husband. We love exploring the outdoors and attending toddler playgroups together. I also love listening to podcasts and dancing in Zumba classes. I have completed both Holistic Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula training through MotherWit Doula Care, as well as the Step 2 Education Breastfeeding Essentials course. I’m so excited to also be a Prenatal Educator with Birth By Bloom/ Dancing Star Birth and teach expecting families at Pomegranate Midwives in East Vancouver. I am certified in CPR-C (trained in CPR for babies, children and adults) for your peace of mind. I have completed a mentorship from Morag Hastings of Apple Blossom Families and Dancing Star Birth. I am a mother to 3 (2 boys, 1 angel), and I am a loss and infertility mom. I am a Certified Birth, Bereavement & Postpartum Doula with my specialty being working with families who have endured pregnancy loss, infertility, and previous traumatic births.

I have always been passionate about working with families, which led me to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology and to work in social and community services. ​ After becoming pregnant with my daughter in 2019, I threw myself into research and through my experiences, truly discovered my passion for all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
