Ever since I had a traumatic birth & postpartum period with my son, I have become so passionate about mothers & making sure they are able to have the best birthing experience possible. So here we are! I've taken a birth & bereavement doula course, & am DONA and Tricare Certified! I've also documented multiple births & I don't think I've ever been more passionate about something in my life. There's something so incredibly special about watching someone become a mother for the very first time, it's almost like a high I get every single time I witness it! As a birth and postpartum doula I realize that birthing women need to feel supported and valued, they need to feel heard and comforted. They need to know what is happening with their bodies and babies. I am overwhelmed with the desire to help solve these problems and give these mothers the birth experience and support they were meant to have. I have been so fortunate to have the Father’s hand upon me as I learn and grow, and I rely on Him for every step I take. I have also been so fortunate to have a mother that has served as a doula for over 11 years, along with having over 10 children herself I have been blessed to experience pregnancy and birth in its many varying facetes.
