I Can’t Wait to Meet You! In the Meantime, Here’s a Little About Me. My name is Matea, hello nice to meet you, thank you for checking out this page to learn more about me as a Doula. But first, let me tell you about myself when I am not being an amazing Doula. I am a mother to three wonderful children, 2 girls and one boy. And in my spare time, I love to enjoy a good film with my boyfriend, read a couple of books, and do some writing! My journey to becoming a Doula began during my third child, when I got pregnant the last time I felt a profound sense of freedom, to pursue whatever birthing options I wanted to, I spent countless hours nerding out over the birthing process and realized that I wanted to share that feeling of freedom and confidence with as many mothers as I could. My first two labors and pregnancies to say the least were HORRID. Knowledge is the most powerful resource that we have going through the process of birth and parenthood, knowing what sensations to expect, what experiences you might have in a hospital or birthing room, what it feels like to have your first or second child, and what to expect when returning home. I have personal experience with all of this, and the education to back it. I make it my personal goal to be your partner in making your birth story your own, and not just the one that is handed to you in a packet from a doctor’s office. I would love to connect with you over a cup of coffee or a quick phone call and talk more about what a Doula can do to help make birth and postpartum a beautiful experience for you and your family. So what can doula do for me? Specifically this doula? Birth is a natural process, arguably the most natural process that any woman has the privilege to undergo. And our bodies are uniquely equipped with the knowledge and ability to complete this process. As a doula for both Birth and Postpartum families, it is my goal to equip and educate new families in the miraculous and powerful process of birth, whether it is your first child or your 5th, I make it my personal goal to ensure that you have all the tools and encouragement that you need to make your birthing and postpartum experience as easy as possible. A Doula is your own personal advocate, your partner in the wonderful process of pregnancy and postpartum. I have received my training to provide these services through DONA (one of the most reputable training and certification providers in the US). I provide a myriad of services to support and advocate for you during and after your pregnancy .

Hi there! I’m Reighan. I provide holistic doula support in Central/Eastern WA. Holding space for strong feelings and emotions, empathizing, seeing past the outer layers of a person and into who they are inside are a few things that come naturally to me. The journey of pregnancy and birth is sacred and utterly transformational. It is also messy and challenging. It requires the entirety of our body, minds, and spirits. It is my joy to help folks remember the truth that has been there all along: that everything they need has always existed inside of themselves. On any given day you can likely find me walking to the park with my 4 magical kids, eating spicy chips with my lovely husband, or reading one of the twelve books I am usually in the middle of. : )

Hey there! Congratulations on all that is to come. I am very proud to offer both birth and postpartum services. I have always been fascinated with the process of birth and pregnancy, and after having experienced it myself, I found doula work to be intentional and powerful. I believe there is no wrong way to deliver, and no wrong way to mother, as long as the mother has been educated and is fully involved in the decision-making process. As a doula, I bring education, emotional support, and friendship to this journey's exciting yet vulnerable time.

I love my job! Supporting parents through labor, birth and postpartum is amazing, and rewarding, and what I feel called to do. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator and a lactation educator. Having an understanding of your options is a big part of preventing birth trauma. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. I support folks emotionally, physically, with information/resources, and with advocacy (and photo documentation of their labor). We usually have some fun too!

Hello! I’m Jordan Cota, a doula, wife, and mother of five. Over the years, I’ve supported many women through various pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences—ranging from home births and VBACs to cesareans and water births, as well as different feeding and parenting styles. I believe that our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences deeply shape us as individuals and parents. While there’s no "easy" way to have a baby, the process teaches us how strong and capable we are. I love supporting women through the "fourth trimester" as they adjust to parenting and bonding with their new baby. My journey to becoming a doula started with the birth of my first child. I was young and unprepared, but my best friend instinctively supported me through a natural labor, and I felt empowered afterward. However, I knew I needed more tools and preparation for future births. For my second baby, I chose an out-of-hospital birth center with a doula and midwife, and just 21 months later, I had a beautiful home birth with my third child. My last pregnancy, with twins, led me to choose a hospital birth with both an OB and midwife.
