My wife is pregnant for the first time. We're looking for proffesionals who's values align with our own. We believe in natural methods and dont trust medical professionals who push for drugs, surgeries, etc. Western medicine is great for emergencies only, not health. That being said, once we find someone we trust, we will value your expertise if you say that western methods are necessary in certain cases.

Breastfeeding/ pumping help. I have inverted/ flat nipples and can't figure out the right size flange and can't get my daughter to latch very well especially after having a bottle. I keep getting clogged milk ducts that are extremely painful in both breast. And my nipples are very sore all the time. Something is wrong and I can't figure it out. I plan to birth in the hospital/birth center. Would like to use tricare west coverage. Aiming for natural birth, delayed cord clamping.

I was hoping Insurance would cover the costs of getting a doula - but if not, i'm not sure what the range of budgets should even be for doulas. I would like to labor as long as possible without an epidural and avoid tearing if possible and/or C-section if not medically necessary.

Hospital with my obgyn I really don’t know the average price for this because I didn’t explore this with my first born but I had a traumatic experience. I am high risk, on several medications. I need someone well versed in medical interventions and hopefully with my health conditions as well so that they can help advocate for me during birth. Last time my husband and mom were there and I was in so much pain, I felt like no one heard me and no one spoke up for me. I want to try for unmedicated vaginal birth( first birth was vaginal but with an epidural) least amount of interventions as possible, but I’m always willing to hear the doctors point of view on why they recommend something. I just need someone on my side who can help ask questions and help me decide when I’m not mentally able to do it on my own.
