About me

I’m a Perinatal Educator based in Minneapolis, MN, with a deep passion for supporting Black and Brown families. After my own challenging and disheartening labor experience with my first son in 2019, I felt called to make a difference in the lives of others who may face similar challenges. For almost six years, I’ve been advocating for our community, working to ensure that families receive the care, knowledge, and support they deserve. In May 2023, I became a certified Perinatal Educator through Commonsense Childbirth, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving many families. I take a holistic approach to perinatal education, focusing not just on the physical aspects of pregnancy and birth, but also on mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. My work is rooted in empowerment, education, and advocacy for equitable, culturally relevant care, and I’m committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the families I serve.

My goal is to provide holistic, culturally relevant care that empowers families to feel informed, supported, and confident in their journey. Here are the services I offer: Birth and Postpartum Support: I provide emotional, physical, and informational support during labor and the postpartum period. Whether you're preparing for birth or navigating the early days with a newborn, I’m here to offer guidance, encouragement, and practical help. Breastfeeding Support: I offer personalized breastfeeding education and guidance to help new parents feel confident in their ability to nurse. From latch issues to creating a sustainable feeding routine, I’m here to provide support tailored to your unique needs. Newborn Care: As you adjust to life with your new baby, I provide hands-on assistance with newborn care, including infant soothing techniques, diapering, sleep routines, and general baby care education. Childbirth Education: I offer comprehensive childbirth education classes that cover everything from labor stages to pain management techniques. My approach focuses on empowering families with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their birth experience. Vaginal Steaming: I provide vaginal steaming services to support postpartum healing and overall reproductive health. This holistic practice is designed to help with uterine recovery, reduce menstrual discomfort, and enhance pelvic health.
